not sure if this goes here but. i got a question...

 

if a player of a certain high rank, takes the tag's off all the epic's and high priced item's and takes them all, demolishes all the buildings we had in guild, and leaves the guild. he did that probably just because the founder is currently having issues in rl and cant log in, and he has been on for 2 weeks. could be that called 'guild betrayal' and could that player be punished for what he did, and could staff players somehow fix that? :/

It's awful someone would do that, however, there's really nothing the staff can do.

Guild Memberships

 

Players have the option to join guild in some of our games. They do so at their own discretion and should be careful before joining a new guild.

 

All guild founders are given the tools to ensure that their guild members cannot steal from the guilds. If the guild founder chooses not to use those tools to limit players' access to removing gold or items from the guild and they are then stolen, the player taking the items has done nothing against the game rules. We strongly advise all guild owners to be very careful when accepting new members into their guild and when issuing access permissions.

The problem is what to do about this. The high ranking player might view his/ her actions were better for the guild than maintaining "apparent" flaws. Permission for Bank Withdrawals, Demolish Structures, and Untag Items do not have to be given to anyone other than Guild Founder and trusted members. Why give such permission ? Chance to make great purchase. Someone builds structure not needed and is costly to keep. Someone tags items that take up bp space and does not contribute to Guild.  

 

But what to do? Are there other members with Permissions? Does Guild registrar work? Right now is decision time. Can you trust those left?
