Gathering/Harvesting Key Command

Hello All,

   I tried searching for this, and didn't find any duplicate topics... so... here goes...


I believe that there should be a key assigned that you can press to automatically harvest from a the closest selectable gathering point (dead animal, tree, ore, etc.)


I feel like this would provide more streamlined playability.

Agreed, but that would make it way easier to bot.

Agreed was just about to make a post about it, as now key binding is available it would really help!

I would really like to see easier way to loot, loot bags.

I have played a lot of games with pets that picked stuff, some even had they own small storage he a pet with four slots could pick up an item in form of a square 4*4

We got a little waylaid here I think... 

I like the Pet Storage/Autocollect concept, but I don't think Pets should be geared toward Gathering or Mining or the like.

The only reason I say this, is because I prefer using the keyboard as my primary method of action, and using my mouse to alter the camera angles only...

The big problem is the botting. I can't figure out a way how this could work without making bots easier to make.

We could follow one of the many other suggestions out there, including random battle events.

Someone posted of this concept that, while mining, an enemy of a comparable level to the player would spawn every so often, as a result of their mining/gathering efforts.

We could have Ore-Golems, Tree-Guardians, Gem-Fiends, Forager-Bugs, Poachers, Sea-Monsters...

Then to offset the combat cost (time-wise), stats would be added to the tools used for any given trade... so... lets say that Pickaxes would gain large bonuses for combat against Golems or Gem-Fiends, while Axes would have bonuses against Treeguardians and Fishing Poles would have a DPS buff against Sea-Monsters... ETC...

Finally, the player would receive a bonus amount of the resource they were gathering for beating the creature and proving that they were present to react and avoid that creature killing them.
