It is possible. But you will need good eq, good offense buffs and all your points in damage.
The sets you should look for are:
-Mancrusha
-Baron (not really needed)
-Santork (not really needed except for the claws)
-Samael's
-Banshee
other helpful items are:
drake shield, drake sword, lesser santork claws, gloves of tenlai, dark ethal shield, red spine amulet, helmet of ilami, rune of decay. EDIT: Boots of Queal.
I don't remember the setup for every level, but have a look at these items and you will find out.

get a drake rune and that should be it
you wont be one hit killing but you will be surviving
theres other ways but those are rather expensive

haha. sry, i disagree with the link. 140-150, use baron set, drake armor, drake shield, lesser santork claws, mancrusha ammy, decay rune, jahd ring, boots of queal or umah. this set will mostly 1 hit with a few exceptions.
150-160 or even till 175: santork set, drake armor, drake shield, jahd ring , boots of queal (can switch to luma boots when you hit level 164), decay rune (switch to greshas rune at level 168)
160-175: can use above stuff or switch to void set, santork claws, helm of ilami, mancrusha ammy, drake armor, drake shield, decay rune/greshas rune
175-186 or even 187 if you don't mind staying back a level: marpolo set, axe of brettal, void ring, banshee boots, greshas rune, drake shield, sidel ammy.
i went with the above equips, but all were perf or excellent crafted and ffed and i 1 hitted all of these levels.
150-160 or even till 175: santork set, drake armor, drake shield, jahd ring , boots of queal (can switch to luma boots when you hit level 164), decay rune (switch to greshas rune at level 168)

Yeah I just did some research on this and EW makes it easy and so does the new Hell Forge system
You should easily be able to 1 hit if all but 12 are in your damage base stats, them items will help then
