I'd like to suggest adding crafting recipes for vanity items to the Shop, purchasable for EP.

At lower levels, the game currently favors quest items for better stats.  That's fine and part of the eternal game balance struggle.  In the meantime though, crafters are left to vendor trash just about everything they make as they skill up.  There really isn't a player market for 100 level 8 set of gloves every day at this point.  

Having a few vanity items at the lower crafting tiers could create some demand for goods from lower level crafters.  HCS needs to make money as a business, and so it makes sense that they offer Vanity sets for EP/cash.  Why not offer some crafting recipes for EP as well?

 

Chatting with one other Skinner/LWer, Csetairi,  this morning when we hit on the idea.  We both liked it.  Anyone else?

What a swell idea!  Good to see such forward thinking people out there, aiming to help the players gain from their hard time spent on their profession, helping the developers add fun things to the shop to make some money, and aid the street strutters (you know who you are!) with even more articles of clothing to display for the masses!

Doesn't have to just be recipes for vanity items. Add a recipe for dyed item and add dye to customize the look of general gear. 

 

Either way, I love the idea of more crafting recipes that are rare and need to be purchased.

No that is a terrible idea ahahaha, I don't want to go into pvp when i try to go attack a assassin when he is really using a bow and arrow disguised as 2 swords,or maybe your just saying the vanity weapons are on the persons back but it shows the real weapon in his hands when he enters combat.

Stand alone it won't make much difference.  The market will become flooded and the items will stop selling for any real gold.  But combine it with suggestions from other threads and this is a great idea.

 

1)  Add rare and ultra-rare BOE recipe drops, the vanity items among them.

2)  Cooldowns on crafting these recipes to prevent market flood.
