I've been looking around and haven't found any builds at all for a sintank. So if you do have a good sintank build, can you please put it here?

I found this https://tinyurl.com/yc9x5lb9

I'm not sure if it works or not, but seems a decent sintank build with bleeds heals.

About the build

The sintank (leech) is capable of pulling extremely large groups of mobs and surviving while still being able to dish out much more AoE damage compared to other popular tank builds (full melee wartank, full vit wartank, full vit prophtank, magetank, rangetank). The beauty of the build lies in the fact that the amount of health healed through Blood Siphon increases as the number of enemies increases, so with good defenses, the sintank heals more health with Lethal Concoction than the enemies can damage. Theoretically, this build is able to pull and hold more mobs than any other tank build.

Recommended gear

Heavy armor, preferably Crafted Silver for additional armor or melee dodge rolls
One-handed melee weapon
Shield
Throwing weapon
Enough defense gems (onyx, diamond, opal) to cap defenses. If defenses can be capped with 3-5 gems, consider getting a movement speed gem first (zirconia), a mana regen gem second (aquamarine, will allow you to reallocate some talent points) and if there’s really nothing else, a maximum health or mana gem (jasper or turquoise).
Melee haste gems (heliotrope) or melee attack power gems (amber). Having melee haste at about 30-33% should allow you to recast Lethal Concoction comfortably.

Talents

I don’t believe in a “one size fits all” kind of build. Different people have different preferences and different gear/gems, so there are some talents that can fill in for deficiencies in gear while other talents are more suited for offense/defense. Having said that, here’s a build that would be alright to use despite not being tailored for specific needs: http://talenttheory....m1t3u1v1w1x1E5/
Further changes can be made from there.

Necessary for sintank

  • Ferocious Taunt 2/2
  • Defensive Stance 1/1
  • Resolute 1/2
  • Corrosion 2/2
  • Concoction Mastery 2/2
  • Watch Your Step 3/3
  • Blood Siphon 5/5

Highly recommended

  • Born for Combat 2/2
  • Steadfast 2/2
  • Stalwart 3/3
  • Walk it Off 1/1
  • Crusade 1/3
  • Toughened Adventurer 1/3
  • Tremor 1/1
  • Inciting Cry 1/1
  • Resolute 2/2
  • Revenge 1/1
  • Swift Stride 1/1
  • Swiftness 1/1
  • Phantom 1/1

Good/okay to have

  • Impalement 1/1
  • Conviction 2/2
  • Righteous 2/2
  • Favor the Righteous 1/3 or 2/3 or 3/3
  • Inspiration 1/1
  • Last Stand 1/1
  • Finesse 1/2
  • Battle Hardened 1/3
  • Haste 1/1
  • Devastating Impact 1/2 or 2/2
  • Endurance 1/2 or 2/2
  • Shock Trauma 1/2

Talent point allocation should be 24 Templar 21 Assassin, 23 Templar 1 Warrior 21 Assassin, or 23 Templar 22 Assassin.

Not recommended in most cases

  • Stouthearted - armor, gems, talents, obelisk should be sufficient to cap defenses for most players. Even if defenses aren’t capped, putting 3 talent points here is usually less useful compared to other talents.
  • Vicious Poison - there are plenty of Warriors and Assassins with this talent as well, and unfortunately, the damage boost from Vicious Poison is only applicable to the person who applied it to the target. Since the tank is almost always the first to attack enemies, this means that Warriors in your group will deal 10% less AoE damage to mobs, and Warriors/Assassins will deal 10% less direct damage to bosses.

Feel free to mess around with the talents to try to get a build that’s suitable for you.
