I'm getting disconnected from the realm every 30 minutes or so on Zephyr. Is anyone else having this problem?

I just started yesterday. I got Snow Leopard pelt after 2 or 3 kills and turned it in. But now, I have spent an hour so killing 15-20 Snow Leopards without a drop. Is this normal? Because it isn't a fun introduction imo.
