There are only slight differences between attacking a mob and hitting another player. Each person's character still has attack, defense, armor, damage and HP. The basic game mechanics are the same; attack over defense, etc.

agree, but they dont know the buffs and how they will work for or against you.  I am no expert either as I only know what I know from need.  Leveling buffs we use all the time... PvP is another matter all together.  Understanding PvP setup seems to be another issue... levelers are use to SSI... no such animal in PvP... getting the enhancements you want from a setup so on and so forth... heck you know what I am talking about.

 

Back when I joined you had better know something or you would have a bulls eye on your back.  I would look to see what PvPer range I was leveling into, I would power level through the most aggressive PvPer ranges if I could.

I know that quadruple allegiance tokens will help the vast majority of the players, so I will say thanks for the offer as this will help most.

 

However, as a loyal donator to the game this just amplifies the fact that I don't have enough usable loyalty rewards to use the tokens I have let alone what I will get from the Christmas offer.

 

Please take a good look at the rewards in the loyalty area and upgrade or add some stuff that your loyal donators can use.

Since we're talking about returning things to their formal glory I would enjoy removing the 5 level cap on delevelings on the BB. But if that sounds too harsh just increase the 5 level cap to 10 or 20. And while we're at making the game more difficult could we see the removal of the exploit where players sit on champions and lose colossal amounts of levels only to relevel with a global pot? Hey I'm guilty myself... Players need to relevel by normal means.

 

I also find it offensive that the "bully" moniker is still used, especially by game officials, in a role playing game. Players/admins should treat others with respect and courtesy in all facets of life. Problems arise when written communications begin especially between antagonists. Avoid PMs and allow game mechanics to speak for you.

If you are the victim of offensive or inappropriate behaviour or receive any other unwanted communications, you should report all inappropriate behaviour to as well as seeking appropriate external help, for example from parents or law enforcement authorities. If a player is unhappy or offended with anything while plaing, then they need to send a support ticket and if that doesn't solve their problems it states clearly to cease using their websites. People need to take responsibilities for their own lives and actions. The name calling needs to stop. This is a game!!

I'm not sure more level loss on the BB would be a good thing.  The game has change alot in the past few years and levelers are not as aggressive as they once were... PvP crews would support each other and a single leveling crew would not have enough players that know how to fight back to make this a close fight.  Very few levelers seem to understand even the basics of PvP.  They are not going to learn these skills in a fight losing 10 or 20 levels each time they get on the BB.

 

Maybe this would wake a few crews up to getting more allie guilds, but somehow I just dont think it would.

 

It would have less effect on upper level players as I would think most of us have fight on the BB a few times.

Not skill points, Justinian, level up points....

I know... but if I have no level up points in def why would i place skill points in a buff that increase base def ... if we get the right to change level up point then it messes up the buffs we have picked.  The complete structure or reasoning, if you will,  behind why we picked buffs changes if this is implemented.

i like the idea but i am wondering ... we add buffs per how we placed skill points... this would mess up the entire buff structure of players.  Any ideas??

Awww, so you had a good reason to take 20 fsp to delevel someone you knew nothing about? It's justified because you have a good reason, in your own mind? Newsflash, most of us have a perfectly good reason for what we do in this game. My question to you was.... Why is it okay when you pvp and the rest of us are the evil ones?

I do not wish to hijack this thread with this discussion.  I only posted in here as you had used something I did as an example and thought I should list what I did.  If this is important enough for you to want to discuss start a new thread I will respond when I get time

That was me... you can use my name in forum if it is true that I did it.  I did it.  Now lets discuss what I did.  A player posted in FS Box that he was going to list 2 players and was paying 10 FSP per level lost.. so i looked at the bounties.. I saw that the player listing them was in a solo guild and then i looked at the 2 players .. I made the determination that I would help out the player in the solo guild... and I did .. I took 2 levels.  Yes, it was 100 stamina hits,  Was the FSP tempting, Yes it was.  If you wish to say i took it for the FSP I can live with that. (EDIT: To be honest I was happy to get the 20 FSP)

 

Another story.... a few days later this same players posted the same message in FS Box, but when i looked he had left his solo guild and was in a crew... I did not hit on those bounties.

 

I do not consider defending solo players as Hypocritical on my part. I have done it in the past and I will do it again.

 

If anyone questions my actions in game just ask... its a game folks, i don't take this stuff to heart. 

It's sad to see the people screaming the loudest about what 'most' pvp players do are hypocrites about it. You got one guy on here screaming who was totally fine jumping random bounties to 100 stam and get paid to delevel a player who did absolutely nothing to them. How is it okay when you pvp but we're the evil ones?

I am not a fan of increasing stamina gain per hour.  Giving a "set" increase of hourly gain if you have 9 epics equipped would be a good way to increase it.  However, if they allow this players will want the enhancements and max stamina  bonus increased in the near future. 

 

If the Cows want more activity from players with higher max stamina then hourly gain needs to be reviewed. 

 

If they are not looking to increase the activity of that segment then no change required.

 

I really don't care one way or the other.

LOL... so now we are back to telling players to attack back when attacked by a PvPer... great so then he can be bountied and deleveled by the PvPers buddies.

 

And lets remove deflect one of the only real defenses players have from PvP or make it not kick in very often so it is worthless.

 

Is there anything we can do to make PvP easier guys??  Oh I forgot make cloak only cover the setup you have equipped, not stats and remove Dispel Curse from the game also. 

 

Anything else?

Obviously not since the whole point of this thread is the decrease the time it takes to secure a titan. 

 

Less time to secure = more secures over time = more Epics into the system = more supply = drop in prices.

I assumed  that increased amount would not be allowed.  Titans spawn (amount of that titan appearing in a given week) should not be increased.

Time, effort, stamina, etc. All these things contribute to the items value. If we decrease time, we decrease everything else. And decreasing everything else decreases the value and sooner or later, the items just won't feel Epic.

these add value to the hunter but not to the buyer.  The time, stamina, etc still is the same but value of epics are down.  It still comes down to economics supply and demand.

I have not voted as I am not sure this is the issue.  Value of the drops seems to drive need to hunt the caves.

 

The caves is one reason i worked on increase my bank... but I believe the issue of lack of player playing the caves is from a lack of profit.  You have to have BP space to hold the items and AH slots to sell them.  I hunted the caves during the last cave event for sets for mates not for profit as I knew I would not make a profit (but in my mind i was hoping).

 

I have the AH slots now, but not the open BP space.  I have only made a profit when special potions are in the caves with LEs. Sets from caves no longer sell for enough to make a profit.  LE sets need to be important for game play or they are not going to be worth hunting.

 

EDIT:  I used about 100 Million gold on last cave event.

my last titan hunt was with a TED player (honest titan hunter also) ... sometimes I would see the Titan move (killed) when i was still 10 moves from the titan because of this FIX slowing me down... other times I would be moving with him and I am sure there were times he saw the titan move before he got to it also... It was a miserable hunt for both of us... period (as per our discussion about it).  It takes a long time to secure a titan (as he did) or 2300 kills (as I got) and these issues just make titan hunting sux. 

 

To my knowledge I have never hunted a titan against anyone that was cheating, except in the early days of titan hunting.  So I cannot say this FIX is or is not working against them, but i know honest players sure know it's there.

it slows us down alot.  It stops your movement and can jump you back 3 or 4 moves, not once but 2, 3, 4 times in a row.  I have had it where I cannot click on the titan to start moving again and had to click to move close to it.  If you are by a wall after it stops you you might continually get a message that says you can not move more then 1 spot. 

 

Even when you attack the titan it seems to be slowing us down.. it could take up to a count of 3 to complete an attack.

I don't want to see achievements added because we already have an achievement reward called medals.. Why not just add more medals than add another type of a non beneficial reward..

This thread just tears apart medals and their worthiness.. Which I don't agree with at all.. And I find it a little harsh when difficult medals are brought down to the level of 'achievement' as repairing one item

I would rather see more medal ideas instead of ideas for less medals and the introduction of another system..

I can not speak for Anonemesis intent but i viewed this as a continuation of training new players not as a degrade of medal system.

i like this.  Some of the achievements seem kind of simple but it would give a new player a taste of things in the game.

I dont agree with the total kills for all creatures. But you must understand, the same reason the SE has a list there should be one for titans. I wanna see where i play out (Probably not of the list). But then i have a goal to stretch towards. Increase competition.

 

Dont lecture saying its a guild activity 

We look at it as individual achievement now but it has always been a Guild accomplishment hence guild TKP.    I see your join date so I don't need to discuss how titan hunting worked in the past and the changes over the years.

 

However,  if we want to change Titan kills to an individual accomplishment then we must get rid of the guild TKP and we go back only the player (not guild) that gets OVER 50% gets the items (no individual TPKs as this was added to help small crews to earn Titan drops) .

 

I believe I understand your reasoning , but have to vote to keep it as it is. The medal is enough.

 

I see this as another example of the loss of Guild loyalty and a focus only on the individual player that is prevalent in the game today.

okay... so the Cows added an SE kill count to our bios... why you may ask.. If I was a betting man I would say to increase SE hunting...

 

I can understand why some would want our guild adviser info added to the guild medals as we ask for that when they added the medals.

 

Now we want a kill count for every creature type we have killed... this is getting crazy...

 

I do not want a kill log on my Bio period!  Sorry for the rant but do we ever know when to stop?

Seeing as most with a very high SE kill count hunted them well below their level I don't see an issue with starting at 0. 

 

BUT to keep higher level players from over crowding the lower level realms hunting SE's I would agree that we should add the SE count from current medals to their profile page.

 

If this is not done it will only make game play harder on the lower level players trying to complete SE kills for quests at their current level. This will not stop all the players from farming SE's way below their level but maybe it will limit it a bit.

 

Just my 2 cents right or wrong.

Back in the day, when SE gear was required to have best hunting gear and players farmed gear for themselves and their guild... much respect to you and all others that played the game in 2006 - 2008 and truly farmed (hunted) SE's at the same or close to the same level as your own.  Thank you for making mine and others game play easier and successful.
