I am not sure the low level potions in loyalty section need to go or boosted as new players with low stamina can use those potions. 

 

New pots need to be added.

 

I am in the same boat as you all... the only loyalty pots worth using are UB, LF, Doubler, and Global Doubler.  I sometimes use the Conserve 180 pots to accomplish small tasks and want to save a little stamina.

At one time, the AL and Conserve pots were really nice, fairly cheap loyalty potions. With the ease it is to surpass those buff levels with composing now, those 2 potions no longer hold much glamour.

 

You can get almost the same results with a Potion of Resilience + a cheap 10k gold disti as you can with Everlasting Potionl, only the loyalty pot is not effected by Spell Breaker/Leech.

 

Sacrifice 250 can be bought for much less than 1/2 of 1 FSP in gold and is higher than the level 200 in the loyalty section.

 

All that really leaves desirable are the Lightfoot and Doubler potions or maybe the last 2 Global Booster potions, for those looking to score top 100.

 

The loyalty section should get an overhaul.

The current loyalty rewards do not take into account the PvP donators either.  Should be options for levelers and PvPers.

This could be another way to sink some gold/fsp in the game - make purchases of mercs increase as you purchase more/higher tiers of them. 

I think we need to be careful on using hiring mercs as a gold sink... upper level crews do not require Mercs that often so the gold being sunk will be coming from those that can least afford it.

Hoof... Allowing players to abuse epic gain is not a good idea... You above all would know the intent of epics so if you guys say yes then we will have 2 types of stamina gain. It all comes down to the fact that it is your game. But I vote no.. Only one type of stamina gain in game.

Why should there be an issue on how we gain stamina unless players are bending it for their on gain... If players are sharing epics to gain bonus from said epic but are not having to deal with the negative side of keeping them I think this is wrong... Take the good with the bad

Was the intent of epics to only equip them for a few minutes to get the gain? I think not, just had the ability to do so as stamina only gained every hour. If you don't want to use epics all the time then do without the gain.

No opt out should be given. If you want the gain from epics then keep them equipped.

I like this idea.... the current merc are all in the first tier and newer stronger ones start in the next tier...  I would hope that we are not talking about increasing the search cost? 

 


Maybe Tier 1 needs to be upto Level 1K and then have 500 Level increments tho - so that those "smaller, less rich guilds" still have access to exactly the same mercs (with some getting a  stat boost - who wants a level 45 merc with almost no stats after all ?) but those who want more powerful ones can go up a tier or 2 ?

I would love this as it will make finding merc I can use much easier,  but how will this effect lower level crews with next to nothing in this guild banks?

 

Currently smaller / poorer crews have the same chance to get a good merc as a big / rich crew at the same cost.

 

I would like to hear from players in smaller/ poorer crews on this subject

Go gold sink, go... I hate it... but hey.. it's good for the game.

I guess we should ask the Cows to do that with the Zombie Brews, only 4 or 5K of them to use all year?   It good for the game right?

This event is going to do nothing but increase the cost of Watch Your Back Brews and Flasks of Death... I just used 8 million gold, FI 1500 chest, Reckoning 200, ZB, and a BM 300 potion.  For 4 flasks of Death and the global frag boxes dropped???  Was planning on farming for a while... changed my mind pretty quick.    A total waste of my time and resources.

 

Not even going to waste more for Watch your Back Brews.

The problem is that some people are on ignore lists via PM for a reason. I've seen harassment via PM carry into global chat (as they were blocked from that) and only a warning rather than a 24 hour or 2 day mute given. Blocking people would make yourself not visible to them and vice versa.

 

It can also save chat mods a LOT of potential for trouble if someone who wants to avoid someone and be able to prevent trouble in the chat via an ignore list is able to do so.

 

I don't think a player should be denied use of global chat because someone is acting like a total jerk to them and they don't want to have to risk dealing with them. I think giving that capacity actually helps the global chat be better, and makes things much easier on the mods.

 

In short I vote yes. I can attest to how much trouble handling things can be when you have to be as impartial as possible as a moderator of a forums can be.... especially if the person starting trouble is staying just within the fringe of what is not suspend-able/temp ban caliber.

Good point,  especially as Mods are not paid employees
