Yes I am certain.  But the update said that they incorporated some of the FS Helper features.  Well, this was a feature that was fantastic, so I'd love for them to bring it back.  I just tried to buff someone and I had no idea which of my buffs they still needed without reading through the entire list of buffs that they had on them.  Everyone seems to love this so I must be missing somethin'. 

No, you're not missing anything.  That is a big disadvantage of the buff update.  It is very hard to tell what buffs are inactive. But it is a step forward to incorporating helper into Fallen Sword game code.

I have no problem returning to where everyone is eligible to be targets on the Ladder, the old system. Keep the Ladder brackets however with 100 and 50 level ranges depending on your level. Don't want to be hit, PvP protect.

 

PS you would also need to return attacks to be bountyable :D

But we know that will not occur.  I dont think ladder fights should go to BB or the game. Just seems cheap and little to do so. We have both seen players brag about making players quit... It's a game nothing should get so personal.

as you can see he won the previous ladder !!! as soon as he comes online he can hit everyone and shoot from last place to 1st place ! he has 5 targets, we (5 member) have only one !!!

actually he has an advantage over us because it takes him almost only one hit session to get to the top, the rest of us needs many hits!

 

you should already know this because you joined the 1900 ladder a few times and placed 1st, everytime you got online you buffed up, hit all our members and got from last place to top in only 1 hit session ! the others had to hit you MULTIPLE times !

 

Ya that 1900 ladder was fun...  it's not getting to the top that's hard (sometimes) ... it's staying there!  LOL lots of hard hits on that ladder.    Max, I dont have the answer to the ladder, but this is not it.  Now what is going to occur? That is my point... 

 

I hope I am not coming across in my posts as "i know how to fix this"  I would just like to see more levelers join the ladder and try it... it is fun and maybe some of them will keep playing it.  But how many will do that with so many of 1 crew on a ladder.  And maybe my point has little  bearing on ladders at our level as by this point you would think players have tried the ladder and know how they want to play

now some "geniuses" suggested limiting participation on the ladder which is obviously a pvp RESTRICTION !!! sorry to say this but that is **** ridicilous !!

 

So one crew sitting on a ladder with 7 or 8 (give or take) who cannot attack each other is PvP?  See below, That is the ladder you are on... do you see a trend in one crew?

And what, have a lottery to see which two(or whatever number) are allowed to join the Ladder? There are 10s of tournaments spawning 24 hours a day to join or not at any one time. There is one Ladder for each player to join all the time.

I think 2 players per crew on any one ladder.. These crews figure to abuse ladder as it was and  as it is now.  Who really cares if they have to figure out who from their crew gets on the ladder ... let them worry about it. If they did not stack it with 7 and 8 players to keep other away  this subject would never have came up.

The buff update looks good. I have not used it yet.

 

I think HCS needs to watch the ladder(s) controlled by one crew, I dont think allowing them to attack each other will fix the issue.  They will only attack with permission/agreement and to their advantage.  Would have been better to limit number of crew allowed to join a ladder.

The Buff Market was god sent.... Before the market  I dont know how many times I needed buffs and could not get any.  Now most the time i can get what I want.

 

IDK whos idea that was but it was great and thanks to the Cows for taking a good idea, implementing it, and working with players to make it better,

First: I would like to say,  I have had good support from the Cows every time I have placed a ticket.  No complaints from me. Thank you Cows.

 

Second:  i almost quit this game after I joined as I got lost in those lower level areas and could not find a way to higher level realms.  If I would not have gotten found by my first guild and shown Mowgliks maps i would have been gone.... many thanks to him .... and I still use them to this day!

 

A note to my own self interest:  As I donate to the game I would really like to have good strong pots to use from Loyalty section.  Some good ones that you cannot get any other way... Pots for all aspects of the game so everyone that donates have pots they can use.

 

If the game breaks off into classes there should be benefits and disadvantages .... depending on what class you pick. 

 

I would really like to see an in game aspect for allied guilds.... guilds can assist in defending each other relics and maybe in game chat seen by all guilds you are allied with... join in group attacks... maybe even get the same bonus from allied owned relics.... toggled options set in place by leadership of both crews... This would really help smaller crews

as for 'crews' i find more the merrier! although when your crew is as good a badpenny there you dont get a look in at top spot! :D

I think i was not clear on my point. yes, the more players on a ladder the funner it can be.  If the point is to get more players playing the ladder then stacking a ladder with 1 crew does not encourage players from other crews to join. It is just a means to abuse the ladder as it was used in the arena.  Or am I to understand the point is not to get more players to play the ladder but to just have PvP players on it?

 

I can only speak for myself but i enjoyed ladders with players from multiple crews... joining and fighting just one is not the same ...

As far as i can see issues with ladder are ~ although it was made 'non-bountable' you can still hit those you are competing with on non related bounties on the board and take points which makes this kinda pointless. Also if a player is opted in and they go inactive they still show yet you can not take points from them just xp..which means they stay at 1000 points and often take rewards for placement a kinda bug i guess. :)

I dont play the ladder that much... did not know they (inactives) stayed on the list, I thought they dropped off. Good to know information, thanks

The ladder is fun and everyone that joins should know you are going to lose XP.  The only issue i see is crews camping out on ladders... this can be fun if you enjoy the ladder as you have a lot of targets but they only have non-crew members to attack but it seems to me that this is only being done to keep others from joining the ladder. 

 

Make it where only 2 from a crew can join a ladder  (like the arena) OR make it were no rewards nor time to dominate ladder is awarded unless attacks occur or only 1 player is on the ladder.

 

Add a gold price to play the ladder.

Here is my point of view as a wannabe arena player. I tried. I have tried many times. Nothing works. I gave up. I did ok in novice but never got out of the first round in regular arena. How do you get me to try again? By allowing me to learn why I lost. You can guess what the other guy has is not helpful. Just my opinion. I'm not the smartest player. I know the arena pros hate this idea but why not make one arena that is 50/50 regardless of level/equipment/skill. I will waste gold on that. At least I will have a chance. :)

i dont know what level arenas you were playing but the 1500 up have a bunch of really good arena players in it.  I am just learning how to play the arena also and was pretty lucky to figure out a few good setup early.  i have won 42 since the update but i have lost so many it make my head spin... spent over 1 million gold a day joining arenas.  You need to get a setup with high damage and enough attack to hit and armor or def to help protect yourself... If you have ever GvG/PvP it is kinda like that but the combat moves throw in a big twist.... look at the matches you win and lose and see how other players use the moves and try to figure out a good match for you.  I find the arena to be fun, but too slow filling up battles... i need quick fills so some of the top arena players miss joining it!!!  LOL

 

PM the top arena players and ask questions, i am sure they will assist you as long as you dont ask for their setups :-)

Just a thought.

 

Seeing as we have this new chest.... and this new chests has the Balance buffs...  how about a buff that allows them to kick in even when items are not the same level... maybe a band per points in the skill.  example 50 level differance  per 50 skill points in the skill... would make a good potion for when you have a larger level difference between equiped items... might make a nice loyalty potion.

 

The issue i see is that upper level sets are used for alot of levels especially some of the PvP setups

I'm taking break from arena too not joining much as before...

Some tourneys take long to start but still much faster than before when some tourneys used to stay for 5 days

 

New stuff to arena shop will make it rapid again... Not necessary gears but some players had some good ideas about it

 

 

even make some tourneys reward 250 token with higher gold fee .. some players like to try win 1 big win by 1 big shot

did not join 1 all day yesterday.. and I still have a battle I am in that is waiting to fill up...

The way i see it we (FS community) need to figure out a balance between rewards and inflating the game.  I am so new to the arena i dont think i can help but you "master arena fighters" know this aspect better then anyone else.  If the arena is to once again become a fun and active aspect in the game we (all of us) need to think about the results of the changes we ask for.  That is my thought on this subject!

I have lots of tokens but i play for wins not for profits and won't slow down :) it seems you are just thinking about fsps ;)

My goodness, you got me!  I am  all about FSP.  So i spent millions of gold to gain 800 tokens for a BM pot that costs 2000 tokens and sells for 10 FSP.  Your  too smart for me. I will make a killing on FSP when i sell the BM 300 pot to make up for the 6 million gold i have spent and not half way there. 

 

I will play the arena as long as i have fun. I will stop when  tired of  wasting gold.

The token sink would be more future problem related. Sure, some have excess tokens now, but how many of those rewards are a necessity or a want? And for those that are, how long is that going to last?

 

At some point in the future, it won't be worth it to trade in your tokens for the rewards (unless more rewards are added or all the rewards are cycled). A token sink of personal upgrades or buffs would keep the amount of tokens in the game under check provided the pricing for all of those is reasonable.  :)

I can not imagine how many tokens some players have after a week of this active arena.  Is it the concern of all of FS that a few players have an extreme amount of tokens?  Seems to me that the way to slow this down is not too add token sinks.  Players with a high amount of token will still make great FSP and maybe slow down playing as they have so many tokens and limited ways to spend them.... 

 

It seems to me that every time we the players want something changed it is hijacked by those most likely to gain from it.

A Token sink?? Why would we (FS) need a token sink when only a few players have excess tokens?  What does a normal arena player gain in tokens?  I have been playing arena every day (except 1) since the update and i dont have enough tokens to buy a potion.

 

I say no to a token sink as not enough FS players have excess tokens.
