I pretty much hope its ment to be that way - else ranger would be totally overpowered - and talents that go with attributes are usually based on the base attributes you spend in it

I dont know if it was planned to work that way or not, but i really hate, having an Alt and if someone got me on friendlist, he sees my "online" with my main character.

 

So just adding the Alt shows exactly which character the main is.

 

 

Usually people that play alts doesnt want everyone to know that its an Alt, or who the Main is.

 

 

Right now even if a friend is online with an Alt you see him online in "server list" but offline when you login then ... so you know he is online with an Alt

A Mount just for the purpose of good look and perhaps a very very small increased movementspeed like +5 / +10 movespeed i would appreciate - but mostly for the looks ... If there are a lot of different Mounts, you can make your character even more individual

didnt think someone will really bring our joking in chat up as suggestion :P ...

 

i like bots being banned over any other activity ... because even a bot that can get hunt down is a bot ... and it wouldnt really be good for HCS either, if you see for example 10 bots in the game in the knowledge they know its a bot but dont do anything against it ...

 

And if noone in the community would care, or to times where almost noone is online and has other things to do, bots would still dominate :P

Its just a fact .... a almost full specced prophet which puts 4 points in templar shouldnt be a better tank than a templar that has all points in it ...

 

And thats the case right now ... go full prophet with some mage points and take 4 templar talents and you tank everything all the time.

 

If this is your definition of Hybrid, then there is something wrong for sure ... A Hybrid in my eyes is someone that for example goes 50:50 templar:prophet ... or 40:40:20 templar:prophet:mage .... But not 98:2 prophet:templar and has like the full power of templar with almost all benefits from prophet

Perma Death is most stupid possible in a MMO

 

There wont be any more Tanks then i suppose, because first player to die is the tank .... then the other 4 will run and most likely come away.

 

Oh see there is a new tank, lets get him killed - no heal - death 

 

In an ARPG there is the fact that you can actually do something urself to prevent the death - in a MMO you cant, because you have to trust in your healer.

well i can just speak about the tests we made ... pulling monsters and then running in circles not getting hit degrades the armor if you stay in combat by attacking every now and then ... same as staying in combat by getting hit all the time in the same amount of time

I just started with farming and now i see the dailies ...

 

they are just wrong ... 50 garlic, 60 potatoes, 80 pepper ...

 

every other dailies you can prepare nicely for doing not just once ... but this ... 2 sacks for 2 days of garlic ... almost 1 sack each day of pepper ...

 

i would suggest to reduce the amount needed to a normal level ... like 10-20 ...

Armor doesnt degrade with damage, it degrades over time in combat, so ur idea can be placed in the dustbin ...

 

every class degrades the same amount over the same time in combat ...

 

Which only makes the templar degrade more, when not in groups, because on solo grinding he needs way longer than every other class to kill something

Just because this kind of hybrid wouldnt work anymore ... which i kind of ... would support - doesnt mean i want hybrids to be nerfed

 

 

But what exactly is this hybrid right now...

 

A tank (better than tank), high amount healer (can heal same like prophet, if not better, because he doesnt have to watch his threat), which doesnt have to look out with his heals, because high threat is exactly what he wants (not like us healer, that have to watch out - if not a "hybrid everything" is in the team - to not overheal and get aggro all the time), that can also solo every content except for TR (where im not even sure if he wouldnt be able - but would take him very long)

 

So basically right now a Templar is kind of a waste - compared to the light armor, heal, tank ....

 

 

What it would force the hybrid would be, that he is prophet / templar (lets call it paladin) but not with just 4 points in templar, giving him kind of ALL powers the templar need .... but to invest more ... 

 

A hybrid shouldnt be a character that uses 4 points of a first row because they are basically OP.

Templar's seem fine, when I was running TR as full Templar I could hold all bosses and mobs with the right ability cycles. Yes some mobs would escape and the bosses would sometimes switch target but if Templar can hold all bosses and bosses without them being able to break free of the threat it makes the class way too overpowered and the game much more easier.

 

I'm not sure what you are thinking is useless about the Templar as he is very useful in situations where you want to hold large amounts of mobs or a single target. Templar's are also very tanky in pvp and it can take more than one person to bring a Templar to his knees before he escapes to help (very useful class in capture the flag and domination).

 

As for the poll choices you didn't give a "Yes" so I guess I'm voting for "Yes, OP" although Templar is not OP.

 

which equip and when? And what did you do to hold the aggro against groups of monstes - like for example the first pathway u run in TR

Then i can just say no to this suggestion, as smelting gives so much xp compared to mining ... and prospecting xp should be all about the Mining aspect in my opinion - not the smelting

I see right now some Tanks - that think as i do - a real tank stays Heavy armor ...

 

But the tanks i see cant hold aggro right now ... every "light armor tank" that is arround can hold the aggro right now like 10 times better and this shouldnt be the case.

 

 

I would suggest to put the 2 Talents from Templar Tree in the first row which generates more threat + reduces taunt cd are placed in the 3rd row.

 

This way a templar can start spending points into this at level 12, so he will still be viable for the lower instances (and lets face it for boondocks the normal taunt unskilled in talent tree is more than enough)

 

 

I know there will be some player now that doesnt like this change, because there current build is kind of 100% build on exactly this 2 Talents ... but i think it is just wrong - that a light armor wearer can tank better than every heavy armor Tank.

 

 

Also i would like to see something done for Heavy armor ... like for example templar gets +% threat regeneration for each heavy armor he wears.

 

 

The way Templar is right now - is useless - my opinion ... how are you guys thinking about it?

so what ur suggesting is - dont give xp for the smelting progress anymore - but make it a lot faster?

 

then i am with you ... because basically prospecting has nothing to do with the smelting progress at all ... and shouldnt give xp therefore

In every game that I have ever played with WASD movement, camera adjustment with the mouse is still possible. I don't understand what you are trying to say...

well in a usual mmo the whole screen turns with ur mouse movement ... this is a browser game

Better make smelting bars single click work like in Runescape, so you have to do something the whole time - that also would make level 40 more worthy :P like a lvl 99 skill in runescape

i dont see how wasd movement would fit anyhow into the game right now ... atm i can move my camera with it while running around with my mouse ... if this gets canceled and i have to turn the camera by rightclicking the screen like you can do it now also ... i will leave the game for sure (or at least the combat in this game) - because i cant play this way.

 

I need a way to move my camera and also be able to click while doing so
