your a hybrid healer if you can heal + DPS as good as DPS

your a pure if you can heal but not DPS as good as DPS. 

stop mixing your ideas about hybrids and pures.

 

A pure focuses on one thing , even if it takes n number of trees to do so.

So a tank who Focuses on tanking and puts point into warrior to improve there tanking skills is not a hybrid.

A hybrid focuses on more than one thing even if it takes n number of trees.

if that's added for a EP cost i'd say they would make money on it But if it's from story quest, there is a potential loss of purchases that could have been made if someone had made a new character instead of what the thread suggests.

Seems like very few people actually know the difference between a hybrid and a pure. Time clarify it;

Pure tanker: focuses on talents that increase it's hp, defense and aggro skills. Could add talents for attacks.

Hybrid tanker: adds points to sorcery or ranged focuses on defense, hp, defense and aggro.

See the difference? Now to be further explain it;

Pure tanker could add as many points as desired to any talent that helps with stats focused on tanking. Like having more defense for each piece of heavy armor.
THAT DOES NOT MAKE THE A TANKER HYBRID!!!! Even if the tanker has 10 points in the warrior tree, the tanker is focused on meele.

Please stop the confusion between pures and hybrids.

TOTS bro

The game is publicized to have full freedom so hybrids should be must.

I have a full pve healer with 9 points in mage, a pure build would need to have zero in any other class.

I am curious to know if anyone actually have this, maybe tanks? stil that extra dps is good in the warrior tree(even for aggro generation)healers normally take or the crit or haste or dps or mana drain, mostly two or tree of the mage three.

A mage would more easily be pure but that haste on the healer tree is so delicious.

A warrior ... that LC talent is sooo good for grinding.

and so on and so on.

when i was tank, i had 6 points in warrior just for a little extra dps/armour.

More than one roles / loadouts .

 

It's really needed . you can't have more diversity with only one loadout. Please implement this before adding things that make more diversity as people would just not be bothered if they had to spend 250EP every damn time they want to change to some other class.

For tanks adding abilities that let them summon to an enemy or basically a group of them? is that what the topic is going on about?

Talent description-

_Summon behinds the enemy, does x% amount of dps damage upto 8yard radius for 7-8seconds. Generates large amount of threat.

 

 

Or you can have talent that summon you to the enemy, and have a different talent that let's every summon, summon you behind the enemy. Also adding things like stuns to such abilities, will provide a new hint of spice to tanking class + dungeons.

 

 

-some useful abilities for pvp would be , some run away abilities.

_Leaps you back to x yards.

_If you receive a killing blow you will gain 25% of your hp + leap back few yards.

 

Just quick get away mechanisms.

Every class should have enough talents to make both specs pve and pvp.

and For who ever disagrees.

no just cause your a assassin it doesn't mean your bound to ST DPS.

Just because your a warrior it doesn't mean you bound to AOE DPS.

That's all i got to say.

-Make separate pvp sets, with new pvp stats such as resistance, make them into 3-5tiers, which would need some tokens from the events( something 20vs20) matches in TA to be upgraded. [atol tokens or w/e you name it.]

 

-In pvp arena mode [NOT TA] implement a system of balancing the sets. 

Make everyone's gear have the same stats as the highest level set on entering the arena.

A player would need to have the equipment , in the equipment slot for it to be made the same stats as the highest level set. Implement this in TA also if you think it's right.

 

-remove the sets from relics, make the sets into Tiers, relics would be needed to upgrade the PvE sets.

Make the sets drop from bosses with a rare chance.

You get the set, you run the dungeon more , you get the relics, you upgrade your set using the relics.

 

-World boss or RAID boss should have different sets, with different tokens for defeating it, Hence upgrading it more further using the tokens.

 

-Add a new skill- Something that make enhancements for sets. Each piece of set can have some specific enhancements runes that can be attached to them. The skill would require making those runes, Player would buy it and apply it on his set, according to his need. The runes can be anything from basic character stats like attack power to anything else. These should be an addition to the already in-game gem slots. Do not remove one or reduce effect of either one.

 

-PVE sets should be of more damage stats & low sustainability>upgrading> will add more dps but low sustainability.

There should be talent in the tank tree to increase Armour by 200% , reducing damage done by tank by 30-40%, Increasing threat by 200%. Also adding more skills with threat generation & aoe effects.

-PVP sets should be of more sustainable stats & low dps.>upgrading> More sustainability but less dps.

-Raid bosses sets should be more of mixture of the combined two. With the possibility of upgrading it into either PVE sets, or pvp sets, using tokens. and choosing the path b/w pve & pvp.

The need of sacks was doubled due to TA.

I can gather much faster and much more now, but to craft them all i need enough sacks to hold them all.

Yea you can level them faster, but it'll also make you buy sacks. sacks=money for devs

How about sonars.

U place it and it will show you all the person that are in TA in the map for 30 seconds., not the mini map.

 

 

Heck we can make a support class with bombs and stuff out of this.

Just to be clear. 

 

PVP is for end game usually.

 

 

Haters gonna hate anyways.

you all can come and see me getting slaughtered in rift pvp atm. but I Don't whine because i know that i need to practice and learn the game more to be able to kill someone who has spent more time than me perfecting his/her builds.

 

Edit: I ain't highest level there so if someone, even if he/she is 1 level higher than me , kills me with ease. I know I have to level up so i can be as good as him/her.

If they use the filter system and program an add-on that automatically mutes someone for say 1 hour for using multiple abusive words IN a 3 minute time span.

It takes 3 mana pots to kill a healer tank.

 

Or 2.5 if i get my combos absolutely perfect.

 

And we can't nerf them cuz hybrids ... and the crap that comes with its nerfing will be huge.

 

EDIT: though i am all in for both the skills you guys said, would make it much more interesting as i would have to stop the attacks when someone puts on 50% dps buff on them for few seconds.. yikes. that will hurt alot.

You know, things like capes, or hat[vanity pieces] that make you look a bit more important to the game.

[example: completionist cape in runescape]

Or some vanity that shows that your are an important member of the game. 

[example razor cape in Rift]

 

If such things are added for referral system , it wouldn't cost HCS a damn thing and would be worth it for a player just to get it to show off that he IS important and is helping the game.

About focus. 

Critical is not worth getting in the game atm. anyone can argue with me on that, but at the end of the day you are bothered with only DPS and not critical.

 

Raw power is what you want.

If they workout a better system and make critical, dodge,reflect effective. It would give an competitive edge. But then again people here don't like competition very much.

 

Suggestion: Make the critical, Dodge, Reflect more efficient. [though Dodge seems to be working very good for now.]

 

EDIT:

 

Moreover the mobs designed in the game are basically high health so only a high DPS can effectively farm those. Which defeat the purpose of specing into other things usually.

I might be wrong on this.

Here's a suggestion.

 

 

Make the game better (million suggestion for that already give by players so i won't be going on there. as i myself have posted quite a few.)

Once the game is better. Advertise it.

 

If successful TA won't be exploitable. Simple.

 

Instead of going on over the same things that are good and breaking them into the worst thing to spend time on (like TOC for example) is just a waste of time and plain stupidity.

 

EDIT: haters gonna hate. Just fact remains a fact.

I think that would go with the ascended sets?

And for that you'd have to grind out more to obtain some rems from it or something that are added as rare drops + insane amount of flakes which again only crafters will profit from.

I think that would solve 80% of the problem.
