Wouldn't this just be like any other Ladder but with the small diffrence that higher level players would be able to smash the spine out of your body?

 

There's alot of PvPers in all ranges of the game - So let's say the level range set would be 1200 - You would probably only see players level 900+ join to have a chance to match the stats (or they would simply hit players offline as it goes already on the regular ladder) - If a level 500 player joined such a ladder they would just get wrecked over night?

 

How is this diffrent from the arena? besides you can use buffs (and high level players will have the benefit of having much more powerful buffs than the players who only just got the level for the allowed maximum item levels)

0.2 per point chance to dodge your opponents attack and nullify their turn. PvP and PvE.

Already available as enhancements ^_^'

 

 

Upper Ground
0.05 per point chance to inflict double damage for one attack. PvE only.

Look up the skill "Distraction"

Double xp composing event doesn't require stam, per se. 

 

It does if you plan to 100 stamina hit the composers holding tons of gold to benefit most possibly from the event ^_^'

Actually the little things is what makes it delightful to play the game - sure it's nice when we have a huge Global Event and LE events with almost limitless amounts of Legendary monsters running around - but sometimes it's just nice to be able to look in your Log and be able to actually have just alittle order to maintain an overview of what the hell we're actually doing xD

Just to remember - Reckoning does not activate on Summon Shield Imp. Based on this I see no reason why I shouldn't use SSI whenever killing GE creatures even when my gear covers Defense+Armor. It will just be an additional insurance to keep my Kill Streak.

 

I'm pretty sure it activates anyways just as with DD it says "Reckoning skill 'null'"

The brackets are ridiculous.

I think automatic opt-in, with a manual opt-out is okay... but only if the brackets aren't broken.

Why can't be just adjust ranges a bit until we find happy mediums?

 HCS would just need to add a "pointer" like when you start off that sends you to the option of opt-in / opt-out when you join the first time.

I'm more into making the the epics more valuable through using the items with inventing or being able to breakdown/sacrificing them for something else, other than taking certain titans off the fields/rotating..

Epics are mainly used for stamina gain.. How about letting players sacrifice(destory) one epic for a god to gain its stamina gain for a certain period of time (days/weeks/month).. Have to restrict it to one item per period of course..

I don't think it will solve much to remove any titans / rotate them, there's still players out there that don't even have 1 of their own epics. Also the main reason the items decrease is because of the better items (stamina gain wise) is added. And as you know we're as humans desiring MOOOOOORE!

 

I like the idea of using the epics in another way, maybe as in trade for mercernaries, TKP buff packages or even make it a global event ~ when x amount of epics has been sacrificed to the gods you will see a new titan drop in for a few days for just to disappear once again (this titan might drop something else than items, like potions required a low amount of TKPs to make it desirable even to only get 100 kills)

In the northern mytology we have named our days in honor of the gods presented back in the days when the vikings was walking the earth. I would like to see this implemented into the game gods too maybe? A day in the name of Gurgriss would give you ability to make groups at a lesser cost, give % chance to save stamina on offensive buffs or even give a % bonus towards the attack stat?

 

Daily quests sounds like a great idea too. You could even add one for players and one for guilds to prevent players just to login, do the thing and say "meh, I'm done now" and log off once again.

As there have already been suggested alot of Daily quests for players I won't put too much into it but rather focus on the guild ones, as I'm trying to blow some teamspirit into my own guild too I think a teamwork daily quest could help it.

 

- Initiate and complete a conflict (the initiation could be free and the outcome could be something like Promotion on the front page or daily quest tokens for those whom participate)

-  Stick together and create x groups and aim towards the relics! (bonus could be dealt if you succeed to capture?)

- Empower your guild by blessing it with your stamina (could be done through groups, TKP, conflicts and buffing)

 

* I would also like to see some kind of reward for staying loyal towards one of the gods. Like you're loyal to your guild your god might be somewhere to stay loyal too?

I would love to see some kind of mini-game to engage more players to take part in GvG/PvP. But to be honest I don't think it's a great solution to remove the reward for a loss. Stamina spent on hitting back is the same, the Winner gets 2x the reward for being better as a community / guild to secure a win. I don't really see why an effort shouldn't be rewarded is it's being now.

 

Not to be offensive towards you, but I haven't seen you guys in offensive GvGs for some time. Why won't you do so if it's as easy as you state it here?

I for one am doing GvGs for the benefit of my guild - I do it to create something we can do together as a team (as a Guild so to say). We ain't winning more than 50% of our conflicts but we do an effort. We're probably "farmers" as we're not too serious about a win or loss as what matters to us is what the teamwork means for the guild, for the players taking part and not atleast for the desire to come back to play to have another good time succeeding or failing together.

 

When I started doing conflicts I was so worried if we would have a loss or a draw that I didn't even take a swing at it. But then my Guild founder told me that it wasn't too important if I just enjoyed the time doing it.

 

Maybe you don't like that we earn FSPs for a loss, why not? - we did afterall do an effort. We had to do the 50/75/100 hits to achieve it and win most to have the payout. I spent the stamina at these battles, I had experience with setups, buffs and strategies how to find better targets, figure out a setup etc. I for one wouldn't have had these experienced if we haven't earned anything from loss. I simply wouldn't had dared to try.

I have been following the tread for a while now and to me it seems like you're trying to be innovative but keep walking your own footprints. As I understand the OP the idea goes that the medal should give add more activity towards gaining medals (to optain another medal). I would agree that this could happen to a few players as they might want to earn this medal as for the League.

 

But what are you gonna ask for when this medal has been achieved and you get bored and want something new to achieve? MORE!, MORE!, MOOOOORE we want it all! for free please?.

 

Lou, I understand your point as you're looking for challenge in this game and if we have a look at the new titan added more players are asking for challenge to be implemented into the game structure.

So why don't we ask for medals that can be lost? - now that we've got this update at pride I see the boat floods with the medal. Let's have some temporary medals like the "Guild Loyality medal"? these could even be "weekly medals" which would be reset every week, this means you will have to actively work towards these medals every week if you want them. Also it could reveal which players is actually active playing the game and who's just sitting around. SS is coming for you!

 

Add medals for the Bounty activity to rise - The Judge (complete x bounties within 7 days)

Add more activity in Titan Hunting - The Huntsman (defeat x titans within 7 days)

Add here if you have any ideas!

 

I don't know if this will solve anything with the activity, but I don't think a medal for having medals would.

I haven't experienced much of this myself as I have been around near as long as you. But I do afterall acknowledge that HCS have been giving positive feedback at some forum topics to just let them dry out again.

 

That's why I tried to be so specific with the idea as possible to try put some critic on it myself to flatten out the work needed to adjust it too much.

 

I hope to see the HCS attention at this topic to atleast have some feedback.

I understand your argument but as it's been stated in alot of threads the lack of profit from PvP is dying out.

 

Players have to buy buffs from LEVELERS to do PVP. How does that make sense? Why would you award an aspect of pushing 1-8 'r' / '0' repeat with PvP buffs? shouldn't these be available for those who actually take part in the aspect?

 

I think if something like a PvP Skill-tree was implemented we would see much more activity in PvP as it would become profitable and you would actually earn something from your stamina usage (beside gold and medals as is rewarded from leveling too, but in a much larger scale)

I'm just trying to get up with an alternative to the "level up if you want it!"-attitude. As I believe what ever you do in this game you earn experience which I think should be reflected on your rewards through playing in diffrent ways than the prime one which is leveling.

 

Just because you earn "XP" in leveling and not in PvP doesn't mean you earn experience in PvP. Shouldn't that be rewarded too in your POV?

How about the skill level?

  • As you purchase the skill bank for a skill you'll unlock the ability to upgrade the skill level of the specific skill by spending PvP points. (This could be at a cost of 2% per skill level of the unlock cost as this would end up costing 400% the unlock cost to achieve the level 150/175 cast level)

Buffs placed up in tiers to adjust cost to unlock:

  • Tier 1: 1-150
  • Tier 2: 200-500
  • Tier 3: 600-900
  • Tier 4: 1000-1400
  • Tier 5: 1600-2500

 

  • This could be added to minimize the coding needed. These tiers could also be used to put buffs into specific costs to unlock / upgrade
