When I read posts from people who moan about higher level items being more powerful, I get the sense they have never ever played a rpg in their lives? WE level up to get access to this higher power gear, its more powerful for a reason. There is no reason on earth that some lowly level one item should break into the same fragments as a (in comparison) GODLY level 1600 item.
Hunting creatures for xp is how we make our character more powerful in this game, people should STOP asking for this to be ignored, "Oh but I'm lower level than that person, BUT, I want my character to be able to do the exact same thing, with the exact same thing for the same amount of time."
Level up then!

Building on my previous idea.
Composing potions would grant the player composing xp, when a player accumulates enough composing xp they move up a 'composing level'.
Once a new level has been reached the player is awarded a 'composing point' this can then be spent in one of the upgrade categories.
So for instance there would be four categories.
Strength 1-10 (This would increase the maximum possible potion level)
Duration 1-10 (This would increase the maximum possible skill duration)
Brew Time 1-10 (This would decrease the time a potion takes to make)
Multi-Brew 1-10 (This would increase the amount of potion a player can brew at once)
(Level increments to be decided.)
With more categories, this would allow for a higher composing level to be achievable, with more 'steps' in each category.
So for example if the maximum composing level was set at twenty five, with four ten step categories a player could either 'max' out two categories and place the remaining points in another, or they could choose to spread them out evenly across all four categories.
Obviously a character upgrade should probably be provided to allow for a player to 'redesign' their composing profile.

Voted for exemption until 75+. People can level super fast these days, however leveling doesn't come hand in hand with understanding of how the game works. Just talking to some of the people who are crowded around EoC can tell you that...
I like my solution better though, just make it impossible for anyone to involve you in GvG.

If you can make competitive hits bountyable, then arena and gvg hits should be included. If gvg and arena hits are not bountyable, why are ladder hits?

There's no need to speak like that man. I agree with you, the pvp ladder should be treated in the same manner as the Arena/GvG. Conducting yourself with a little more courtesy and good manners goes a long way. Trust me I know. lol

Honestly didn't think we stood a snowflakes chance in a volcano of reaching the top tier of this, pleasantly surprised!!

i am gonna i thought about it and heck i sit over flowing stam anyway problem is using a am 500 pot will see how many i have if i have a couple will use one and sit on a spot but i really really would like a bigger global doubler i aint looking forward to burning my stam at x4
Yep I hear ya, getting large kill counts is mind numbingly boring doing the old AM500 routine, I tend to just find a nice quiet spot, (or try to) get comfy and use the 1,2,0 on the numpad. Bridge my thumb across them and just spam away. Can even watch telly or something while you're doing it that way.
EvilGrim, if you're listening, hows about a larger global doubler? If people are going to have to do larger kill counts to make up for those who can't/can't be bothered, at least give use a x10 or something to make it a 'little' less brutal. lol

I'm not too keen on the linking of required kills to a persons level though. There are plenty of higher leveled people (there are now anyways, thanks to the super duper ultimo-mega potions :S ) that don't have really high stamina banks.
Would probably be better to add an extra reward for going above and beyond what is 'required', where THAT is tied to your level, maybe a few improved global doublers? (I'd like that personally lol)

Might be mistaken but, isn't it the advertisement of 'risk' free smasher medal ticks / bounty medal ticks / prestige, by hitting on a player who is advertising themselves as naked and perfectly willing to take a spanking with no reprisals whatsoever that is the problem here? Using semantics to liken this rather underhanded game technique to being offline or actually unable to defend a bounty through lack of skill/gear is, well rather pointless and frankly quite childish...
What these people are doing seems to devalue those medals a bit if you ask me, what do I know though. Actually I don't even care really. Huh, kind of a pointless waste of time making this post.
Carry on folks, nothing to see here.
