Afraid not Sidd. People have already bought the recipes and whatnot. These will be of use to some players but not others. As it stands, there is an even number of damage and armour sets in those ranges. As is always the case at end of content, there's plenty of room for future sets. This will be seen going forward. (After all, I'd like to update other odds and ends, such as the Chompers and so on and so forth.)

Feedback I can provide if it helps with future sets; even though there may be an equal distribution of sets, the item slots must not be optimal because for players at EOC which should be level 5K soon, for attack armor setups we are mostly using sets between level 3K-4K. Sometimes we even need to use the Longgui set for more armor which is between level 2K-3K. 

 

Please let us know if you would be interested in player(s) complied evidence about this with context about its effectiveness.

Hey Grim,

 

Is there any avenue for revising the sets ? Having checked the combinations that can be built with the 4350 and 4600 set, Attack Armor would be more useful for PvP. The sets are not focused on damage so probably wont be used for hunting. 

 

For context, to compete with armor setups at this level range you need to be using level 800 buffs from a donation chest to compete with someone using the Shield Wall 500 which is a LE potion or potions in Crystal Ladder chest.

In my opinion, Fallensword has received very little development or changes in the better part of a decade because every change has been met with criticism by the vocal minority. It probably creates a negative atmosphere and lowers the incentive for the staff to try anything.
 
Over the years many people have spent time writing up ideas for the game or proposing reworks but they don't seem to go anywhere. I believe the reason is that players do not account for the work involved to execute their ideas into the game. Couple that with half the people on the thread disagreeing; leaves no incentive for the Fallensword team.
 
I suggest the reverse; the Fallensword team posts a thread about an idea or changes, let people provide feedback and the Fallensword team can decide how they want to proceed with any suggestions if at all but at least the players are given the opportunity to provide feedback. Many players have expressed a desire for communication from the admins, you can fill this void.

I was thinking we could have a guild god/goddess.  Upgrades would dependent on guild quest activity.  More activity provides growth and additional function, decreases in activity start degradation, which can delevel the god/goddess.  Function could be a simple pray feature, with gold and FSP options.  It could be where to receive the guild quest and confirm progress.  Maybe this prayer could deliver a random RP pack buff, strength and duration determined by gold or FSP donation. Proceeds can go into a fund dedicated to manual upgrades determined by guild council members with the appropriate permissions.

 

No donation aspect please, the whole guild system works like that already. We or lets say I want it to be able doing something. If its similar to the DQ system it will make guilds you never see titan hunting, hunt titans and members can either learn a new aspect of the game, rekindle an old passion or realize they are good at it. 

 

Say target is kill 500 SEs in 7-14 days.  In a guild with 100 people that's finding 4-5 on one day of the week and you helped and even if you are level one with the help of groups you can kill the low level SEs. 

 

Say target is win 1000 PvP in 7-14 days. Remember if you are a peaceful guild/player, you only have to do it if you want reward but you could achieve it with 100 members spending 100 stam each. There's potential for educating members about setups and buffs etc.

 

Make the rewards worth it like - 10 % attack on opponents and people or some at least will surely put in the work and if the work is dynamic and makes them play/ experience different parts of the game you never know how active it can make the game.

 

Like the titan hunting example above, if you have never touched titans before, you guild members will let u know they are visible on map, use teleport and LF and titan doubler. You can go after the titans left for clean up and assist towards the goal. It doesn't have to be hard i.e. you don't have to compete for cow right away lol. If you like hunting titans or get good at it, more titan activity for the game and if not, at least its helping out with clean ups and leading to more titan spawn/sightings.

I am not interested in discussing the ban situation but, the GvG rating was achieved by the GvG team and we are still here and pretty independent of the rest of the guild.

Fist fight is already a obnoxiously stupid buff why make a lvl 300 pot oh my god :facepalm:

 

Not speaking to you personally but will anything please you ? Seems anything that creates disturbance in predictable play is upsetting. 

 

Earlier this year huge discussion about Dispel Curse 500. Dark Curse doesn't show on combat log but Dispel curse does so by my understanding this is a counter but not level 500 as well only 300.

 

useless if you know how to design setups...

 

Emperor Sidd was a leveling set. This is a PVP set and the potion is good way to cause some upsets while defending or even attacking someone with high level buffs. It isnt useful in all situations but not every buff is either.

Player kill counts accumulate toward the guild kill count which is calculated for the top 100 lists.

Hypothetical Event
 
20k Kills for Bronze, 50k for Silver, 90k for Gold, 140 for Crystal and 200k for Ruby
 
Top guilds work towards securing rank 1 and holding their position instead being bored or off put by the level of the buffs in the reward
Small to medium guilds work towards the rewards which benefit their guild members specially where there aren't level 60 composers
 
 
The rewards do reflect the amount of effort required and that which can be achieve by either 50k kills each by a 4 member guild or 2k per member of a 100 player guild.
 
Likewise, if the 4 member guild can only reach 100k kills but they aren't happy they can put in more effort next event to get more chests.

 

I feel this would promote a more group effort towards competing with other guild regardless of player levels. Also, in some guilds let lower levels feel good knowing they contributed towards rewards for their guild.
 
Imagine hypothetically, the guild chats of the top guilds on the last day calculating how much stam the guild members have left and investigating other guilds and how much kill potential they have. Also, smaller guilds where people are cheering on the members who are achieving the last few thousand kills to 200k or enough to enter top 100.
 
There are probably some things I've missed, please comment or rip apart with feedback.

I feel as if UFSG shouldn't have information like that... HCS recommended me to wear this set... i died.... IM GONNA TICKET THEM. I can see the chaos now lol.

 

To me it just feels weird having HCS making recommendations like this. It ruins the element of the game to me atleast. The wiki page for this shouldn't be too hard to recreate. If someone can make an accurate list 1-EoC i will pay them 50 fsps.

 

It doesn't seem too broken to me reviewing the page. If someone wants to clean it up and has accurate information to put into it PM me.

 

Hunting setup page is reverted now, but the issue is someone mentioned that the setup list is outdated. I'm too low level to verify all of it specially since reviewing a setup involves cross checking with creatures stats but I also feel we shouldn't use things from windbattles list without their permission.  

 

Should we start a new thread for people to contribute to / review on the list ? or we agree with windbattle's list and seek permission ? What you guys think ?

Anyways, back to the topic, a "guild war" does sound interesting. I'm not sure if you meant like a weekly or monthly event though. Personally, I like that idea. We can keep the current system, so people who want to profit off GvG still can. In addition, we can have a monthly or weekly "guild war" event where it appeals to those who are competitive. 

 

It was an idea just while I was writing so the details need to be worked out,

 

Guild A initiates against Guild B war last 48-98 hrs - CD would be 7 - 15 days ( not sure if CD can be a big factor)

 

First 24 hrs

- Guild A declares attackers ( each attacker is given 25 hits) and maybe a sub incase someone doesnt show up

- Guild B Can see which of their members are going to/can be targeted 

- This gives time for planning and also allows for the participants to prepare for the next 24 hrs ( should involve a log notification)

 

Second 24 hrs ( this could be longer due to the increased awareness and people wanting to take less risk)

- Both guilds know who is attacking and can check when same with the ones getting attacked to buff and defend

- Defending target's were aware of being attacked and guild has agreed to buff them with atleast UB (LOL) 

 

Then vice versa, I'm not sure if it would better to allow guilds their own period to make hits or if it should be simultaneos like conflicts. Which will still work out just more hectic for participants

And for the players that are whining about being paid for GvG's...FIGHT FOR YOUR GUILD!!! DEFEND FOR YOUR GUILD!!! :D that should be more rewarding than a couple of purple dots!!!

I don't see anyone whining but you must understand the game from a neutral point of view than your own if you wanna talk about game changes, only a small percentage of GVGers can say they would gvg without material reward. You must understand that for people who spend or have other ways to earn fsp, GVG is a hobby and they can truly fight for honor without worrying about the costs. For the rest, you must understand gvg is more of a full time role. The level 50s, 100s, 200s etc are not leveling and devoting their stam into GVG and without pay they will run out of funds to buy buffs.

I can see you are trying make GVG rating into the Ladder-esque situation but 

 

 An additional incentive of being top 25, and qualifying for the GvG Seasons Tournament would be increased RP payout within the tournament -Double RP for outgoing wins, and Triple for successfully defending.  GvG for those outside the tournament would remain an option, but no rating awarded for the month, only RP.  Guilds inside the tournament would also still be allowed to GvG those outside the tournament, but for standard RP gains, and no rating transfer.  

 

This will break the RP items market and a lot of people who play solely to earn fsp might stop depending oh how bad the prices drop. So very possibly a detrimental factor, but I like idea for extra stam gain seems and its far fetched considers HCS stance on more stam gain but even max stam would give a solid benefi. 

 

 

Leveling Playing Field:  Resets alone give every guild the same opportunity to make it to the GvG Seasons Tournament, and the tournament itself offers a unique dynamic that could benefit deeper guild ranks, thus potentially limiting smaller GvG prototype guilds within the tournament through viable targets.  This may encourage the smaller venue specific guilds to fill their ranks, or participate in the GvG Seasons Tournament potentially handicapped via having less potential guilds to initiate against.  Larger guilds who would normally shy from attempting to compete have a set timetable, so jumping into any given reset period to mobilize, organize, and strut their stuff is feasible - can do just enough to get invite to tournament, then really turn it on for a chance at the hardware without having to buff 50+ people 24/7.  The time limitations presented inside the month long tournament would require serious strategy; organization, team play, and planning to improve odds of success.

 

This is one paragraph that doesn't add up, what do you mean by 'leveling' ? You say reset as if it is the kill streak counter we are talking about and everyone has equal chance against a "dumb" creature. If we do implement this in this specific design, it will simply achieve your desire to prove RA No1 and throw you an extra medal and rp. If you really wanna follow a leveled playing field. Integrate the Ladder system even further, instead of level brackets make it based on number of members in the guild. So RA can prove themselve against sizable opponents and leveler guilds against leveler guilds. 

 

 

Side Thoughts/ Wish List:  It would be cool to see new RP buff packs introduced as well for 1 click cover all buffing.  Nothing crazy, just something to benefit the large (lots of members covered), and small (potentially limited human resources) guilds in making for the most possible competitive GvG venue ever.  Examples are for 25 RP Invigorate 200, 25 RP KE,Coordinated ATT, Smashing Hammer 175, 25 RP LD,GS,HG,FS 175,....etc..etc.  Something like that - I'm just throwing examples, these packs can be subject to community desire, but again it's important that we keep them reasonable - nothing overpowered -

 

 

 I like this idea very much, if you don't mind me suggesting an idea, and I know its already flawed but, instead of double or triple RP rewards, create a new reward point currency that can solely be used to by a new set of buff packs. But the flaw is people will complain outside the 25 , that its unfair since they don't have access to it.
