I like the idea in theory and I do  have concerns as how you think things will work and how they actually work end up a little off.

Just a thought...

What about rather than just FSP as a reward, we got things like +5 stam gain per hour for 24 hours if the guild wins something as a whole or some other type of reward rather than just FSP? I have nothing against winning fsp at all...but getting some other useful rewards would be interesting.

Would be a little reserved to the PvP as there is already so many negative attitudes towards PvP and players using buffs to break gear etc and not just to hit for a purpose or trading prestige. I have no real solution as I am not completely against PvP but I am not an avid pvper

Unofrtunately, I don't have the time to read through all the posts, so maybe this has already been suggested (if so, sorry for duplicating):

You might want to combine the idea of daily events (nice) with the idea of personal achievements (on which you seem to have given up), analogous to the guild achievements. This might be an interesting alternative reward.

I like your thoughts haha

reading over this i think its amazing idea would help with the grind of the days ...and heres my 2 pennies worth from experience of other games .. i play several some for years like fallensword.. one has guild quests each day they reset they have a task of doing something so is similar to whats been suggested once you complete this task you are given given guild tokens ie 15 of them plus 3 is put into the guild pot when the following day comes along and the quest/task is reset.

who ever did the task gets the guild pot .. so say 15 members all did the task in the 24 hours they each recieved 15 tokens for there personal goal but they also recieved 45..15x3 for the guild working as one the more members who do the job the more coins you earn.. theses are redeemed in the guild market which has dozens of different items in there and is switched around every few months

now i am not suggesting doing the same but it has worked great in that game and maybe some ideas can be taken from it ..personally i would love access to pvp and arena tokens that i cant get as i am crap at both ..so having them as rewards would be awesome

I believe that the reward needs to have something to do with upgrading your own character or guild. We already have way to many potions given to us from either special deals or globals. I have not been able to use all of them yet.

I understand some people are worried that throwing more fsp in the game will lower the value of the fsp they already have, but I believe the token idea would counteract that. But please don't put a cap on token upgrades the way you did on gold upgrades. A good idea would be to change "fsp upgrades" to "token/fsp upgrades".

I'd also suggest that every daily competition has the same reward - a token scheme - and then have a "shop", where those tokens can be exchanged for a reward of the players choosing.

I don't think that FSP's should be on the table at all tbh, but other stuff - upgrades, arena tokens, ladder tokens etc etc should be available.

I think you need to change the concept. Remove the competition element from dailies. Just give the community individual tasks that give a reward to all that complete it.

Otherwise you will see that the dailies will be dominated by medal hunters, large stam banks and EOC players and then you are missing the whole point of dailies, which in my opinion is to increase general activity and give more meaning/purpose/activity to this game.

Encourage and reward activity in general is far better than another ingame competition that will be dominated by a few.

Also instead of rewarding fsp, you could also reward loyalty tokens, just make sure more useful things/upgrades/potions can be bought with them. In  a way it makes more sense, as I think loyalty and dailies have a connection. It also prevents messing up the fsp flow in the game to much.

I wholeheartedly agree with the non-competitive idea of Morgywn. One of the biggest 'turn-offs' in this game is when you want to try something but you know with 95% certainty that someone else is going to win/beat you to it. In this situation a lot of people don't even bother. (take the arena and titans for example) He's right, just make them individual and you'll have a possible winner for increasing activity.

I actually agree with this player I feel the simpler the better don't overthink it. Just make the "daily activities" kind of like how those random 24 hour discounts occur except DON'T make it competitive (since it'll just cause more drama). Make it random like "get x amount of kills on x particular creature" then when someone completes it they get an x amount of reward tokens (maybe like a loyalty 2.0 that contains new potions). Of course that's just my two cents  :P

I hate to say it but this is a role playing game.  Whoever stole from your guild is roleplaying a thief.  You should hound him to the ends of FS paying mercs to pound him into custard at all time of the day.  OR you can consider this a very expensive lesson and never give permissions easily or quickly.  Asking the cows to fix this is like saying, "I shouldn't have attacked that SE without a group and I want my kill streak back."  Guild thieves are the same to me as PvP players, just more rotten.

#955429 What changes would you want to see in PvP/GvG?

Posted by yghorbeviahn on 18 December 2015 - 03:09

Interesting ideas. So you want more accessibility more than anything.

How about being able to stack bounties if posted by the same person?

Example: I attack you 5 times. You can post me all 5 times, with a single bounty, requiring 5x the hits to clear with 5x the reward? It would save tickets for Bounty Hunters, and tidy the board a bit.

That would crash the BB, now, without considering Deflect or any lost attack, we already need 20 minutes to finish a bounty (2 minutes cooldown x10).

With 50 hits, that would need 1 hour and 40 minutes, considering Deflect and possible losses, that time can easily become 2 hours and 30 minutes or even more.

That is not really good to play with.

Chest icons are the same color as monsters and my old eyes might miss one. Can they be a special color too please?

Also as I have only found a few are they always on the top like a higher ranked creature or SE  (usually) is?

#850446 Leveling Guide UPDATED 5/28/14! Changing the link.

Posted by xVWolfyVx on 19 February 2014 - 22:43

Hello I created a leveling guide for players levels 1-200 that gives a lot of information and I will add more information and more levels in the near future.

So far the guild gives the following information:

1. XP needed to get to the next level.

2. Monster I recommend killing.

3. The exact amount of XP the monster gives.

4. The average XP.

5. The average amount of XP with XP buffs.

6. The average amount of XP when using Doubler level 750.

7. The number of monsters you will need to kill to get your next level based on the average XP.

If you guys know a monster better suited for killing then please tell me and I will update the list!

The link to my website is: http://cytrophic.com/guide.html

Link will be changed within the next couple of days to the shared link. It is up and ready but I am giving people time to see I am changing it.

Edit: Added a buff info page linked from the top of the list.

Edit: Changed the calculations and added stamina needed to gain a level.

Edit: Now shows more info about xp buffs. Still not all.

Edit: Changed the looks.

Edit: You can now type on the page/sort/hide stuff you need to (won't be saved)

Edit: Page looks great to me and should auto fit to any device : )

Edit; 4/15/14: Added levels 201-300.

Edit: 4/15/14: Added where the monster is located.

Edit: 4/15/14: Added hyperlinks.

Edit: 5/28/2014: I separated levels to different sheets to increase loading time and make it easier to sort.

Up next: At 300 views I will be adding levels 302-400.

#848869 Arena tokens

Posted by yotwehc on 13 February 2014 - 16:52

that is because lower level players have given up on arena, many after losing 100 times for maybe 1 win...arena needs a major overhaul to help get the lower level players involved...and many more higher level players still playing the game compared to lower levels- gvg farming of noobies is the main reason for that..nobody sticks it out anymore..

I disagree. Even mid level folks like myself have given up :). No ROI.

#845547 Suggestion about NOT allowing quest rewards to be dropped if needed for anoth...

Posted by yghorbeviahn on 01 February 2014 - 06:09

I think those kind items should go to another imaginary space, not the BP, a place where you can't drop, and don't use BP space.

Something like the Inventing space for Recipes...But only for useless items obtained via quests. All 'gear items' should go to the BP, as usual...
