A couple of times ive not made it to a chest before it dissappears(probably to its new location cos of some timer) and once just now before a price was even agreed upon, could the code be changed so that as long as someone is online and still standing on the chest that it would stay in that location, would be pretty irritating and or deflating to finally find a chest and then have it dissappear on you, ty for your attention on this semi-important problem.

I wouldn't say that this is important in the grand scheme of things ?

The original idea of chests was for the finder to open them after all ;)

(Although I do realise / accept that a lot of lower level players can't afford to do that and sell the locations for a lil income)

Also, I think that the cows have got more than enough on their development plate as it is ...

Homer : Marge, don't discourage the boy. Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals .. except the weasel.

Eddie Izzard : The National Rifle Association say that guns don't kill people, people do. But I think the gun helps, you know ? I think it helps. I think just standing there going "BANG" - that's not going to kill too many people, is it ?

I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but it seems that everything I eat lately turns to poo ...

i wont argue on the level of importance, ty for pointing out some of my lesser choice of wording Pardoux :P but one would hope in the FUTURE this would be considered and given 10/15 minutes to be changed :)

I had not noticed this before, it really just disappears to a new location when you least expect it?

And the chests didn't disappear because someone opened them before they got there or opened it while they were on it without them noticing?

It was my understanding when the chests were introduced that they would be "active" by only remaining in a certain location for a specified time and then moving off to a new place.  I like the idea of the chest sticking around as long as somebody is standing on it, not necessarily for buyers and sellers but how would you feel if you found a chest and it disappeared while you were buying the key to open it?  Odds are against that happening but right now it is a possibility so I have to vote in favor of chests being locked on place while someone is standing on it.  I will qualify that though and say the player has to have been active enough to be seen on the map or it doesn't count.  Otherwise chests would never move because there are "invisible" players everywhere.

no, i keep a vigil on the chest log of late, not the case of them being opened by someone else, at least in these few cases i refer to :)

Lock chests to the first player that lands on them, give them 15 minutes to open it... or it spawns somewhere else in the game.

Now you really have to HUNT chests, no more buying the medal  :P

Do it with SE too!  :D

i sorta agree with you..but with chests it would take a few lifetimes to get even a gold medal, since there are so few chests out there, a few more spawned i feel is needed..not many..just a few more..so it does not take lifetimes to get the medals...i hunt all my chests..only have 10..find them se hunting..now i do agree with se part..hunt them all..

SEs dont move, ive seen Feilong sit for a day with nobody wanting to try and kill it.

Dont think chests move either at least a while back Ripple found one that took a crystal key and took over 20min to find someone who wanted to pay for it (most items are junk so im hoping the new set will fix that)

If they move that should be changed,, make it sit till its found and opened.

I'd agree to both of those - but cut the time limit down - after all, 15 mins is more than ample to get anywhere in the game - make it 2 or 3 mins :)

i agree personally with juvi who's to argue about players buying there medal. i sold the only location i ever found to him. its good for my pocket and good for his medal. not only that helps player that find the chest make some income. For example like SE hunting back in the day before i quit i remember it was all the rage you would see the fsbox get spammed with SE hunters people buying SE location and paying for drop  so why not make the chest stay there a lil longer. Not everyone can afford to buy the keys anyway
