Hi,

I have about 20 quests in my quest log that are greyed out, simply because I can't find the starting NPC, and no one has a clue.

I have looked for AGES trying to find them.

Please change it so when you hover over a grayed out quest, it at least tells you where the starting NPC is, or at least the general area!

THANKYOU!

Why not? I'd personally actually prefer that the quest directs me to the starting NPC. I don't even need quest markers later on but not finding the starting NPC sucks.

I believe if you look at the quest book in where the grayed out quest is, I believe it's in around the general area where you have completed the other quests in that quest book.

I think that will help giving in a "general area" where the quest could be.

But yeah, it can be frustrating trying to find these quests, I have trouble too sometimes.

I agree with no thank you - the horrible trend of increasing handholding in mmo's over the last 10 years has been one of the worst things to happen to the genre in my opinion.  Try talking to people in chat if you have questions.

Why didn't you just ASK in chat or Game Help section of the forum ??? ;)

If you arrive at a foreign city, would you either run around for ages to find an address or rather ask any guy walking by ?

Yeah, venturing around the same area you've been through over 30 times just to find that one new guy that has a job for you is very adventurous. (sarcasm)

I mean, I don't think I would like to see something as simple as an indication as to where the quest-giver NPC is, but it should at least say what his name is, and you could possibly talk to Civillian NPCs and ask them their location (provided they're in the same general area). What do you think?
