Speaking of new medals, a guildie randomly came out with the idea of:

 

A Devotion medal. He said had prayed every day to the same god for 6 years, and wanted a medal to show his devotion! (As Gurgriss never gave him squat and he had been true to the guy all this time, LOL!!)

 

I think that is a great idea! Devotion medals!! (yeah Shindrak, not very skill based either....)

 

So kudos to Ragnock for that idea. Why not??

 

Why not indeed ...

 

Bronze   : 25 Prays
Silver      : 50 Prays
Gold        : 100 Prays
Crystal    : 200 Prays
Ruby       : 500 Prays
Diamond : 1000 Prays

Could even add a "SMILED ON BY THE GODS" medal to run along side ..

Bronze    : Once being blessed

Silver      :  Twice being blessed
Gold        : Five times being blessed
Crystal    : Ten times being blessed
Ruby       : Twenty Five times being blessed
Diamond : Fifty times being blessed

 

Or, even extend it further - so that there was one pair of medals for each god ?

Guild Bolster

Cast buffs on guild members.

 

I wish the number on this were higher. The fist one will roughly cost 1k stam - But I guess it has worked out to be a FSP sink. So many people in the FSBox for getting the medal. The 50k for the Diamond  could even be pushed up to 100k

i dont have a probelm with the new medals...good for everyone...what i cant figure out is how something on the dev. roadmap that was 1 week behind these new medals is now 3 months behind ?? did a new vote happen ? how did this happen...3 long needed improvements - arena, gvg, and pvp ladder all have been pushed way back, these are very important for overall game enjoyment...resets dont seem to be so important..maybe it is just me..again, i do like the new medals..something to shoot for..but game these 3 improvements that have patiently waited to be done

Although there are some less than desirable aspects to the medals, they are new, create new goals, and add yet more dynamics to the game.  I appreciate the rejuvenated attention to FS.

I've not changed the order of the list - I just adjusted all the dates proportionally from the current date. I'd hope we can get them all finished a bit sooner than the dates listed on the roadmap, but I think its better having them there as a guide

It's not in the description that you lose them like it is on guild loyalty but I assume nothing about anything new so it would be nice to have confirmation from the cows one way or the other.

ps. the design of the medal also leans heavily towards a certain regime in the 1930s-40s .. both in color choice, and symbol choice... might wanna alter it.. just a thought.

It's based on each successful defense of a relic - ie. when another guild tries to take it but isn't successful, all the defenders gain a point towards their medal.

 

So took a look around and the rampant lack of honor where people have manipulated the medals within hours makes me terribly sad.

I'm really sorry, but I think this didn't come off very well.

Big deal! There's no list that shows their creative manipulation. They are bound to obscurity until they need to brag on the FSBox. Let them spend the dots to address their egos.

I like the new medals - they promote postitive things.  I think the standards for achieving them are weak - but aside from making each tier harder to achieve I have no complaints.  People complain about players exploiting medals just for the sake of having them - why care - it has been the case with all medals since beginning of game - there will always be those looking for shortest route to decorating their profiles.  Medals have better meaning amonst friends; mates, and oneself - outside perspective is crap.

They should rename the medal to collaborators medal or change the way ticks are given. It would make more sence to give a tick per 24 hours a relic is held. I mean who attacks a relic knowing they are going to loose? If my stats are too low I just don't attack it.

i joined 8640 groups and  skill cast 33000  ...we can see that in advisor ...why we dont have those medals?
