although it wouldnt help the previous two posters msg's ~a lot~ i wonder BG if it would be better if the event went more than two days, like maybe 3, wouldnt that help lower guys who can only store a days stamina the MOST, maybe the idea is to upgrade and maybe its been disproven as a bad idea to run longer but i dont see harmful angles in my just waking state

...or since many of us read all of grims posts and acted based on what was said and are now finding out what he said was incorrect, maybe add 10k current stam to all players now or at the start of the event?

 

They have done this in the past with a similar situation.

Looks like this announcement broke the forum again.. no dots or stars next to each thread anymore.

 

It wasn't this announcement, as they were here when I went to sleep, but yeah, the dots and stars are gone now.  Makes it difficult to get to the new posts. As usual, it's just on page 1 of the threads, though the rest of the pages aren't consistent with having dots and stars either.

 

In case you've forgotten, as I did when I already went to read new posts today and just now remembered, you can add "&view=getnewpost" to the URL of the thread you intend on reading before hitting enter.

I cant believe 2 days are causing all these issues. He said/ she said :/ ..when did peoples ability to think what is best or to make choices for themselves stop?

I saw the " kill the wraths, a weeks notice for xp event" post too, and chose to work out what would be the best of both worlds for my character. Its all about thinking ahead, not blindly doing what x said to do. Surely we dont need our hands held and are saying hoof should have said " now remember, we usually give a weeks notice for xp events, so work out your stam, think ahead, and kill more wraiths only if u can regen stam to where u will be happy"

Given how much you can gain max stam wise in a week, if people didnt allow for this, how is this the cows fault? Especially when you can look up wiki and see the dates that 2x were historically held.

Thanks Grim!  Thanks for not listening to the negatives who didn't want an XP event.   Thanks also for the notice. 

 

When I read the prior post and you encouraged people to kill Wraiths, I took that we're all adults (we're suppose to verify that when we start the game) and that I had to take a calculated risk on how much stam to use on the Wraiths and gamble if there would be an XP event this coming weekend.

A week or so ago I told my guild that I was guessing June 14th or the following weekend and encouraged people to use their stam accordingly, but that there were no guarantees and XP events were at HCS' discretion. 

The criticism that it's not a week's notice does seem fair and perhaps the request to have the event extended might be considered?

I saw the post about giving a weeks notice and I used a weeks stam on the Global. I appreciate everyone that used more stam than that but I have done the same exact thing(although not an XP event)...........Thanks Grim.

Hmm...where I come from a week is 7 days. Also on the heels of a global event where you encouraged people to use their stam on this forum seems odd.

 

Thanks for the event, but anyone with a large stam bank that listened to what was posted and went all in on the global is SOL for this event.

Hate being one of "those guys / complainers" as this is my favorite event in the game . But I have to go there for a minute, have to become what I hate.

 

I am beyond frustrated as  I was going to save my stam for this impending 2XP event so I would be @MAX!

However we were  encouraged to " KILL ELEMENTALS " on the last global  in a post from game management. I guess I read into this as "the event is coming , but not for a while" Im going to be 4 or 5 days shy of reaching max stam ... Im simply stating my frustration. Now back to my life.

Thanks for the double xp event, also for all of you that have nothing better to do than complain no matter what is done here if you really play this game is known that a double xp event is always some time in June so instead of complaining you should have balanced out your stamina for this, thanks again Grim

Maybe we were encouraged to kill lots of Global Event creatures so that the big stamina banks would be low for the XP event, and only get 5 days worth of stamina gain.

Just finished a hunt before it was announced but will gladly buy 120 dots worth of current stamina so I could get a hunt on sunday at full stamina, thanks for the event cows ;P

ty grim for the event dont have many levels to get unless you guess spring some extra conetent but is all good... but knowing the cows new conetnt will be the day or two after the event lol..

 

as for all the whiners god if your like this in real life you must be a barrel of laughs.. as the old saying goes ccant have your cake and eat it ..many choose to do the global and you benefitted from it or you wouldn't of used all your stamina, i choose not too as it didn't help me.. now if hcs wants to really spice things up release a land and scavnging event will be alot of gold flowing and the realm event would make people pick what they want to do
