Can't believe how many people here actually use the combat evaluator lol.

I tested that thing a few times, even on 'adventurous' the safety margins on it were far too high for my tastes.

I could regularly destroy creatures that it told me I'd never hit and would kill me in 1 swing... Useless.

Besides that it always felt like a bit of a cheat really. I mean playing a heavily math based game like FS and then having a script do all your math for you? What's the point...

Fully agree... and I wouldn't ask for it. But it is an "interesting" concept if it functioned correctly and was expanded.

Unfortunately, FS players to a large degree are now told what to wear and what buffs and pots to use. That has a positive and negative side.

With regard to this thread and considering the general lack of stat knowledge that is shoved down FS players' throats until they come into an "interesting" aspect of the game... I understand why "some" want it. Personally, last on my list.

However, just because it's supposed to function as a "non-think button"... well, look at the world we live in ,oP

And there is no better way to learn than dying a couple of times =)

1) Instant recall all gear to GS/ recall without refreshing page

2) Calculate Group stats with all buff variables

3) Calculate date/ time when Max Stamina is full.

Thanks!

1) Find player page having the amount of gold on the player and the "Find PvP/GvG Targets" links added.

2) PvP/GvG targets highlighted in different colors.

3)Show active, semi active and offline guild members in different colors under "Online Members" on the right hand side guild Panel with maybe adding the red colored circle according to those inactive people for 7+ days that was available in guild manage screen, allies and enemies list.

BUT....... let me say that only 3 features is too few, don't you think ? also what happened to the "Personal achievements" ?! this was supposed to be added "AGES" ago but it wasn't for some reason, also what happened to the GvG medals and improvements ??!! A lot needs to be added to the game and adding only one each few months isn't going to help, I even forgot what "personal achievements" was supposed to include, as I remember Personal achievements and GvG medals was supposed to be added more than a year ago or maybe almost two.. SO you need to post a topic for those two also, Thx and Cheers :)

Sheesh, isn't almost 2000 levels of content above you enough ? ;)

sure if all you do is level then the game has more to offer than he would want,  but some of us enjoy a more adaptive game with interaction with players beyond seeing who can level the best....

i would like to see more content as well, last few updates have been great for people's bot's. ie composing, globals,

but some new content for live players would be greatly appreciated.

i believe that evaluater was invented when levels 200+ were a bit of a challenge, back when we use to have to actually think and plan our leveling around the idea that everything was not 1 hit, there were no superbuffs, no imps to stop from dying, and back then that 5% safety margin was not that big, especially when taken into consideration that some people could not afford UB for every hunt and damaged gear was an issue, i believe it still has merit, though should be tweaked for higher levels, if anyone that high really needs those training wheels still.

but i really also believe that it is not worth spending any coder time on  behalf of the fs developer, as there is no creatures in game worthy of needing such a feature, besides an occasional SE.

I read the original post and you are asking three features from fsh you would like to incorporate into the game.  In my opinion I love fs helper. I have played both ways with fsh and without.  My suggestion as mentioned by other posts is to incorporate fs helper as it is and correct what is not working or improve features what is there.  I have noticed updates in fs helper have not been happening as mentioned by most I have had issues with my fs helper not working. I do keep it updated and when new features from HCS are put in game this affects how fs helper works. Main reason why I am suggesting if possible to have fs helper as a game item with option toggle box yes to use or no for players to pick.  I think new features should be added fs helper once other things in game are updated and corrected.

1) Put fs helper into game makers hands.( This give faster updates and repairs options to makers of game to fs helper)

2)  HCS can put a check box to use or not use in game item area for players to have choice of using fs helper or not

3) We all talk about those that abusing game  if fs helper set up by game makers hcs, then those abusing game would be caught faster or is adjusted to prevent abuse process.

This is only a suggestion I can offer honestly. I could not list just 3 features I like in fs helper since I enjoy using fs helper in several areas of it when fs helper working properly. Those that know me know I play all aspects of the game. :)

1) The level 1800-2200 skills we don't have yet

2) New LE and Spine equipment for the levels above 1500

3) A PvP or SE GE to match the multiple frag stash events we have had

Part of playing a game is learning HOW to play it. Never used it and do okay, and I'm not the sharpest knife in the block. Please stick to the stuff we really need. If FSHelper goes by the wayside, the player base will learn to cope and adapt like they do with the rest of many updates.

Your post does not address the topic at hand.

The new versions of Chrome and Firefox keep disabling the FSHelper Script. Have to reconfigure the browser every time I open it. It would be nice to have ALL the FSHelper script actions ported to the game instead of relying on the script. But here are the most useful:

1. All the buffing functionality

2. All Quick functionality (Count, Use, Wear, Drink, Delete, etc...)

3. Guild Inventory features.

This is a very good point, even though I chose the combat evaluator as one of the features I wanted to keep.  lol.  Then again, i never was very good at math and I never trust the evaluator "completely", I just use it as a general idea of whether or not I'll get whooped by a certain creature or not.  I mostly use it for very strong creatures like SE's or elites, not much for the regular critters.

i do not think the helper being  incorporated will be a good thing, it would be better to incorperate it into the game mechanics, then ban any and all scripts, unfortunatly the online numbers would plummet and would see the reality of how many "human players" are still playing.

Your post does not address the topic at hand.

His post actually does Helper is not essential to the game,it is however essential to people who cannot play the game.

People with titles like legendary mercenary wrangler etc who never learnt its possible to solo every single SE Elite critter in the game.

Some wild accusations there. Do players join the game and instantly download FSHelper? I highly doubt they do. Those players that just joined then play the game and learn the game aspects. Then they stumble upon FSHelper and see how to play the game more efficiently. Just because people use FSHelper does not mean they don't know how to play the game.

Good point! I played FS for probably a year until I gave FSH a try.  It brought the game from STANDARD DEF to HIGH DEF! Like someone stated before ..You dont realize how many of the  features you take for granted, playing the game, are actually FSH features and not standard FS, until they are gone. HCS would be wise to implement as many features as possible. I have turned many people on to FSH, and the response to it is always overwhelmingly WOW! Why did I not use this sooner!

Three is not enough by any stretch. Put in as many possible.

I have used the helper since level 25 and yes I can play without it, I can do the math, I do understand buffs and how to calculate them. I don't want to do all the pencil pushing.

One of the first things we advise new people to do when they join the guild is get the FSH. Why? It makes the game easier for them(Let's be honest... A lot kids today can't do simple math.) and it helps the guild in that they stick around instead of getting frustrated.

You would think that would be the case but when you watch people hunting with 30 buffs they dont need and some that have absolutely no benefit to what they are doing you realise that is just not the case.

I really don't like using Counter Attack buff and I do love using Overkill buff for extra xp, especially against champions.

Since the evaluator does not calculate damage causing enhancements - Holy, Banishment, Glory Seeker ect., it is a great tool to double check my notes while I'm hunting.

(If evaluator shows I am 6K damage short and the critter is an Demon Champion, then my gut feeling is, I will 1 hit kill it and even get overkill bonus because of my enhancements)

Enhancements can only be calculate thru experience (gut feeling) not from combat evaluator.

Not to mention, gear changes from one area to the next, after leveling thru many areas in a hunt, can cause mistakes, so I glance at combat evaluator before attacking and make adjustments accordingly.

Useful in determining if NMV will protect me or if I have to buy all the SSI pots in AH.

Remember that you cannot peek at creatures with  levels higher than you are so the combat evaluator is not a win button.

It is a great tool where you are and minimizes frustrating hunts if you happen to be in a hurry or having to change gear/buffs a lot:D

So if I have on 30 buffs that I don't need then I am definitely someone who has FSHelper and doesn't know how to play the game? (Metaphorically speaking).
