why does the games FPS drop when im at Otholo?

 

i tried moving the settings abit but still no luck, im a new player so im not sure what is wrong.

 

i have a decent rig so its impossible that its from my end since i can play most games on 120fps

Hi Icebox,

 

Our engine is still in the process of being optimized having recently switched to OpenGL from a software engine. One of the causes for these FPS drops right now is having many players in view. With Othalo being the starting area, it's currently flooded with a constant stream of new players due to our higher popularity since Steam release. It's something we hope to resolve in the near future.

In the meantime you could try reducing draw distance in the settings panel, which should help FPS considerably. Alternatively you could try switching to a less populated server until we resolve these issues.
