here is my report (from my experience and info from the help of the community, thanks)
I spent over 10 000 stamina on this new system
pvp season
a huge stamina sink
the more stamina you spend the higher your ranking
many hit offline and unbuffed players x times in a short time (player hitting same player x times in minutes)
current pvp sysytem, the player with the most successful hits and most stamina gets the "highest" rank (I do not agree with this bedause a player has a lot of stamina and hits offline and unbuffed players does not mean he "deserves" the "highest" rank, if another person wants to pass him then he needs to spend more stamina or more successful hits than him, I think this is not pvp, in the old system (pvp ladder) it did not matter if someone had 100 successful hits, you could pass him after few successful hits)
bounty board
you can smash a person you do not know on the BB and he can not bounty you
many wait to smash offline and unbuffed players
smashing is with minimal risk now
BH and smasher medals lost their 'value':
I got my crystal dominance medal years ago (one of the first players who got bronze)
I only recently got my BH and smasher medal because I stopped pvp years ago after more depressing pvp updates
few weeks ago I got my smasher medal
yesterday I got my BH medal 03:26 26/Jul/2015 You have just been awarded a Bronze Bounty Master medal!
I feel ashamed getting the BH medal this way without risk
I smashed over 180 bounties and did not lose any xp until my BH medal
I deeply regret spending 10 000 stamina on this system, was a waste of 4 days stam
positive about this system
xp loss on BB if the attacker loses (players told me this and I tried it out, I removed all my gear and hit someone on the BB, you lose xp if you lose a battle)
suggestion / feedback
pvp season has "potential" if:
- bring back xp loss (pvp without xp loss? we already have that, arena and gvg) (players are putting 1 setup and hitting mostly everyone offline and unbuffed many times, win or loss hardly matters because no xp loss)
- the instant farming is stopped (you can hit multiple players "instantly" as long as you have enough stamina
- cooldown on attacks (1,2 minute?)
for the bounty board I do not see any "potential"
- I used 180 smashes without "risk", no xp loss
- I talked to players who got their BH medal and smasher medal without losing any xp , no "risk"
- bring back the old BB system, it was better and the medals had 'value'
I signed up for a game with this pvp system
I payed money to play the part I like, this pvp system
I do not recognize the game I paid money to play the aspect I want, you removed / changed it completly
pvpers used to have their 'territory' and non pvpers got their gvg and arena with no xp loss
but during the years more and more was taken from the pvpers 'territory' and 3 days ago the last thing was taken from the pvpers (xp loss)
2 players were nice enough to send me the posts of the pvp forum that was removed and I can not understand why the pvpers opinions were ignored on the new pvp system
the non pvpers wanted:
- no xp loss, they got it (hoof said back then xp loss is staying)
- no durability loss, they got it (even gvg has durability loss)
- opt out, they got it (grim said no opt out many times)
pvpers wanted:
- no changes to the BB, they were ignored, they did not get it
my question to hoof: why are you watering pvp down, is not 5+ years of watering down enough? I want to know if I can spend my money on the aspect I want (pvp) or need to move elsewhere
I listened to you and I did as you said and gave this system a chance but it did not work, as it currently stands I am about to ask for my account to get closed and will soon send a ticket after talking to guild and friends
