hi FS, long time no see and ummm    some nice new updates but the bounty board alone made me wanna log back out     *just being honest*  250 players online  300 players online  and from the looks of things the WHOLE player vs;s player system is umm choped and screwed...   (sry for my crude term)  bb = 50 stam hits xp take looks like a 5 stam hit......     im sry FS  i love u but  ouch........ 

 

 

 

 

 

*edited*    -.-  ok , i was just informed the "old" system was being put back.   now when they say "old"   how old we talkin....?

old like 2 months ago, its the previous system actually not the "old" one, old ladder, stam going from 10-100, old bounty board where you get posted for a specific amount of gold or fsps by the player he attacked

Personally would like the Original system back in place drop people 20 or more levels on one bounty re instate pvp quests remove the ladder system totally.

since you missed all the excitement, i'll summarize:

 

an announcement was made saying an update was coming to "make PvP as awesome as it used to be"

 

and so it was done

 

during the tweaking process, a poll was started asking if we liked the new system

 

many people voted no, not realizing a no vote meant going back to the old system

this is simple english and easy to understand what each outcome would bring

simple, it is hard to believe that many people (like duktayp said) misunderstood the poll when it was explained in hoofmasters OP in forum and posted in the NEWS section (you see the NEWS section every time you log into the game if I am not mistaken and it is the first thing I see)

I may be wrong but is not the home page the same as the NEWS section at http://www.fallenswo...ex.php?cmd=news? (everytime I log into the game the NEWS section / home page is the first page I see)

I think the poll was put on the side bar and everyone who logged into the game was able to read the NEWS section / home page because it is the first page we see when we log into FS

the whole post from hoofmaster was in the NEWS section / home page for everyone to read (first page we see when we log in for everyone to read) and in the forum too

as for the wording, here is hoofmasters reply:

 

Don't mind means they are neither for nor against it. So purely looking at the yes / no votes it was just over 65%.

thank you and i will tell him   happy to see the old system is comming back every thing is a learning process LOL  trial and error paitence......   as long as in the end its done the correct and fair way   just getting to that point can be bruital

Actually, every single person (with the exception of some mutlies that were high on drugs) in game was quite clear that the no vote meant a reversion to the old system.

 

Most of those are disappointed that the Seasons has been cleared as a Global Event by HCS.

 

All of the above is tongue-in-cheek. 

 

How about we NOT assume we know "why" an FS Player voted one way or the other?

I noticed you didn't choose your 'before" pic from the time between seasons when there were only 2 or 3 bounties that were auto placed.  Bounties from Seasons never should have been placed to start with.  All players had opted in and there was no XP loss from hits.  Auto-placing bounties based on gold loss alone was a bad idea all the way around and we are better off without it.
