Hey folks, it is that time again. Round Three theme is going to be movies.
Now before you take that big sigh of relief because I'm giving you something easy let me explain what I want from you.

If you haven't noticed, movies and their posters these days are getting kind of stale. Well here is what I want to see. Choose two movies, one from 2008 to present and one from prior to 2008. Envision the movie poster that would promote a film that is a combination of the two films. Make it interesting, make it something that you (and the rest of us) would stand in line to see. I strongly suggest crossing genre lines for this. I love a good comedy.
You won't know if you're eliminated until just before this is due so I suggest doing one just in case.

Basic Rules:

-Entries must be 300x500 size
-Entries should be PNG format.
- NO animation of entries (ie no apng)
- Do -not- use two movies with the same title, or story.
---- For example, if you choose batman, you cannot do batman begins and the dark knight. You cannot use two different star wars movies together, or the Planet of the Apes (original series of movies) crossed with the Planet of the Apes (reboot) etc. Check with me in advance if you're not sure if your choices will be acceptable.
-Entries should be sent to me by 23:00 server time, Monday, July 23rd. Include Round 3 GGT in the subject line.
-Entries should include a movie title for text. Additional text is optional.


-No cheating
-No smack talking
-Don’t use artwork you have made before. Entries must be newly made for this competition
- Please follow forum and game standards of decency for your submission.

When I brainstorm out these themes I try to come up with a dozen or so ideas before I put the theme on the 'definites' stack. Some of the crazy combos that came up for this one led to much wiping off of monitors and changing of pants.

A name for the movie is a good start

bylines a good second... Take a look at some actual movie posters, make it look like one.

That's how I understood it and submitted my entry Chagryn, figured it was that way as height is the first option on any new canvas.
