To all new players that want to learn the basics and advances of the game I have made this thread for you to easily learn. :)

The list below is players that buff for free and the lvl limits

Drdoom123 under lvl 300 only

rebornjedi no lvl limits

if you want your name on here reply and ill put you on

I reccomend starting all the epic quests first it will give your player a huge stam boost  Signs and Portents (Epic)

How to hunt up ? ...

Step 1 ...

The way to hunt is look to the left of the screen and it should say "world" click that and it should take you to a new screen.

Step 2 ...

Complete the tutorial, the tutorial is pretty straight forward and it tells you how to do things like kill and walk around.

Step 3 ...

Once you have completed the tutorial you will be able to go in to the outside world and kill independently, pick areas with creatures your level  Mowgliks Maps http://mowglik.livinloud.ca/

Jagger4mans Set Lists http://jagger.co.nf/

Rubicksman's Fallensword Calculator  http://www.fallenswordcalculators.com/ (stops at L1360)

USFG http://guide.fallensword.com/  use these links to see what creatures to fight and where to fight them for effective gold income and xp increase.

Step 4...

keyboard shortcuts, the main keyboard shortcuts are w= north e=north east d=east c=south east x=south z=south west a=west q=north west if you dont know these direction here north=up south=down east=right west=left another good keyborad shortcut is r clicking this button repairs all your things besides crystalline the last keyborad shortcut is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 these will kill creatures so 1 will kill top one 2 will kill second one and so on

Step 5...

Buffs.

There are many buffs out there some are useless for hunting like inventor but some are very good like adapt learner the best way to get good buffs is on the left there should be something that says upgrade if you click that more options will appear below then what you do is click loyalty and get the top two buffs they are very cheap and quite good for their price if your having trouble earning the money pm me and ill send send you 50k as soon as possible.

Helpful Leveling Buffs
Adept Learner
Librarian
Conserve
Treasure Hunter
Merchant
Animal Magnetism
Light Foot
Reckoning
Overkill
Stalker (if they are wearing a complete set.. will help them learn what the Elite Hunter enhancement is)
doubler (only if you want)

Questing Buffs
Find Item
Quest Finder
Resource Finder (invent/extract not really needed at lower levels)[/list]

GVG !!!

gvg is a good way to get fsp it is where two guilds are at war with each other and their players attack their oppenents players and when a guild wins they get rp and gvg rating rp can be used to get items which can be sold for alot.

to join in a gvg you need to have at least one target within 7 days of activity the following data is from the game itself ...

Guild RP

Guild RP varies depending on the number of attacks chosen at the beginning of the conflict. Also for each Guild that completes all attacks, 2/3/4 Guild RP is awarded for 50/75/100 attacks respectively.

Guild RP Awarded Based on amount of attacks chosen:

  • 50 Attacks:
    • If attacker wins: Attacker gains 10 Guild RP
    • If it is a draw: Defender gains 5 Guild RP
    • If defender wins: Defender gains 10 Guild RP
  •
  • 75 Attacks:
    • If attacker wins: Attacker gains 15 Guild RP
    • If it is a draw: Defender gains 8 Guild RP
    • If defender wins: Defender gains 15 Guild RP
  •
  • 100 Attacks:
    • If attacker wins: Attacker gains 20 Guild RP
    • If it is a draw: Defender gains 10 Guild RP
    • If defender wins: Defender gains 20 Guild RP

XP / Gold / PvP Rating
XP loss, Gold stealing and PvP Rating have no part in GvG conflicts, unless there is also a bounty on the target player, whereby the loss is as normal as with a bounty kill.

Level Ranges
Level Ranges are as follows:

  • 25 - 300 (+/- 25)
  • 301 - 700 (+/- 50)
  • 701+ (+/- 100)

The level range is determined by the lowest player's level.

Contribution
Members of the initiating guild may only perform up to 25 attacks each in contribution towards the conflict.

Bounty Retaliation
When in conflict, it is not possible to place a bounty on attacks which were from a conflict participant. Note that attacks from guild members who are not actively participating in the conflict can be bountied as normal.

Scoring
A score point is only gained upon a victory for an attack initated by you. If you initiate the attack, and the other player is victorious, they do not get a score point for their guild.

Conflict Victory
A conflict will end when either both guilds complete the maximum attacks possible, or the time expires. Note that unless at least one guild has completed the maximum attacks, the conflict with be declared a draw. The guild which 'wins' the conflict must have completed the full amount of attacks otherwise it will be declared a draw.

Leaving During Conflicts
If a participant of a guild leaves or is kicked during a Guild Conflict, they will remain a viable target for the opposing guild until the end of the conflict.

thats everything you need to know if you feel theres somthing i missed out comment or if theres a error or if you give free buffs please comment

If you are feeling lonely and want to make friend click on the left action then under interaction it should say chat talk to people on there were all a friendly bunch :D for more info please check out this topic started by EliteHunta http://forums.hunted...showtopic=58299

To kill the creatures (and to win in PvP / GvG against other players) you need to know about stats and how they affect the outcome of an attack.

Your stats are shown under your profile picture.  Changes of items worn and buffs will affect your stats.

Stats:

There are only 5 stats in the game and those are :
1. Attack
2. Defense
3. Armor
4. Damage
5. HP (Hit Point)

Here is what you need to learn about stats :

* Attack > Defense = You'll successfully hit your target.
* Attack < Defense = You'll miss your target.
* Damage > Armor = Your damage can vary.
* Damage < Armors = Your damage will be reduced to 1.

Attack vs. Defense

Attack and Defense determine your chance to hit your opponent in combat.
Generally: Attack > Defense = Hit
Attack < Defense = Miss
More specifically, it is highly recommended you have at least 10% more attack than your opponent's defense.
Also, there is an estimated 2% automatic chance that you will miss an attack regardless of your attack.
On the flip side, the more defense you have, the smaller the chance of your opponent hitting you.

Damage vs. Armor vs. HP

Damage, Armor, and HP determine the outcome of a round of combat.
Generally: Damage > Armor + HP = Kill
Damage > Armor = Wound
Damage < Armor = Miss / -1HP

When you hit your opponent, their armor absorbs part of the damage. Whatever damage is left gets taken from their HP. Because of this, you want to have more damage than your opponent's combined armor and HP or they will take multiple hits to kill.

Similarly, if you want to be safe from your opponent's hits, you need to have enough armor to absorb all their damage. Even then, if they manage to hit you, it is possible to lose 1 HP each hit.

Arena might be a bit complicated for new players, as it is unique. Usually, adept arena players are reluctant to reveal their setups /move sets to help new players.

New arena players should be encouraged to work their way up by themselves to gain actual experience with playing the arena, instead of using another person's setup as a crutch. While we're on the analogy of walking, I should point out that you can't learn how to walk if people do it for you (if that makes any sense whatsoever).

It is necessary, however, that new players learn the basics for the arena (what moves do, how the combat works, etc.)

There are plenty of better and more up to date data sources than onemanmob's plagiarised stuff ...

Homer : Marge, don't discourage the boy. Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals .. except the weasel.

Eddie Izzard : The National Rifle Association say that guns don't kill people, people do. But I think the gun helps, you know ? I think it helps. I think just standing there going "BANG" - that's not going to kill too many people, is it ?

I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but it seems that everything I eat lately turns to poo ...

yea, best to just tell them to start the quest Signs and Portents (Epic) and go from there.. it'll push them through the levels until the realms get more linear. after that, a researched list of creatures you can fight at every level who give the most XP would be better than that onemanmob's guide. with guild equipment, new players could be farming elites for leveling, plus make some spare profit on the side

not sure why this thread was created under general feedback, and not in the "Game Help" subforum. There's already a lot of useful threads in there and should be the first place a new player could look to get off to a good start.

I know you have good intentions doing this, but here that information will be losted very quickly, HCS need to create a way where new players can find basic information quickly, and that's not the right place to do this.
