I'm getting the same issue - ran the diagnostic tool and all. Updated to the newest Java, and still getting the error - no go here for browser.

Same here. It just started this a few hours ago. Ran the diagnostic tool and it's still the same.

Would downloading the game change anything?

Did you click validate files on the diagnostic tool? GBloader might be corrupt?

It's also possible that you updated too latest Java lately? try unistalling and getting version before.

Also check your firewall there's a chance it could be blocking java/eldevin.

Yup I get the same message too. Client works for me though.

 

Edit: if it helps.. my java is most recent update.. Java 8 update 25.

I think the client has it's own Java built in (could be wrong) so rolling back java to last update before might fix it.

Another person on the web suggests this:

 

In my case the solution was:

disable plugins.click_to_play in about:config.

I had enabled this (set it to true) to take advantage of FF14's clicl-to-play functionality - but apparently it stops Java from working properly!

Just some things for you to have a try whilst HCS is closed

HCS are aware and will hopefully patch next update.

 

The latest java is the cause so roll back your version until it gets fixed.

Confirmed, the latest Java update appears to have broken the browser version for everyone. We'll look at getting this fixed today.

If it helps, my java hasn't updated since I was playing yesterday, but I have also got the same problem.

This is unrelated to the latest Java version breaking the webpage.

 

If the server list is showing the servers as online then the problem is your connection to the server. If you haven’t already, try to connect to a different server as some of our servers run on different ports.

 

If that doesn’t work this usually means that your firewall, router or internet provider is blocking the game from connecting to the server. Certain internet providers block access to game ports, please check with your internet provider if you suspect this is the cause.

 

If you cannot fix this you could try to use a vpn to connect as a last resort.

The browser version should now work again for the newer version of Java. The SSL certificate checks have gotten a little stricter that is all.
