Welcome fellow artists to Graphic of the Week September 2013.

You are asked to create an avatar following the weekly theme.

This week's theme is: The five elements,

• Wood/Spring: a period of growth, which generates abundant wood and vitality
• Fire/Summer: a period of wellness, flowering, which over brews with fire and energy
• Earth: the in-between transitional seasonal periods, or a separate 'season' known as Late Summer or Long Summer - in the latter case associated with levelling and dampening (moderation) and fruition
• Metal/Autumn: a period of harvesting and collecting
• Water/Winter: a period of retreat, where stillness and storage pervades

There is an entry fee of 1 FSP.

#1- Work must be original, pre-made works will not be accepted.

#2- Work must be done by you.

#3- No time extension will be given.

#4- Size limit: 200 pixels high by 200 pixels width for an avatar.

Wow I like this theme. Reminds me of Avatar and I'm Chinese haha. I might actually need to join this one...still busy settling into college though. I can't wait to see what people make though!

I think it would be interesting if we could enter more than once. For every entry, we pay 1fsp. So if i wanted to enter 3 times, 3fsp. It would raise the pot and might make GOTW a lil' more fun

When can we post our work?

Late sunday or early next monday our entries will be up and ready to be voted on. We ourselves do not put our works up, attorra puts it up, because then people would know who made it and part of the fun is figuring out who made what  

 

Try to keep your GOTW pieces hidden until after the voting of it is over. You wanna try to keep your ideas and work to yourself so no one takes it

I'm currently working on my second piece for this theme. Will probably do make two more after this. My best piece will go into GOTW and all the others will go into auction or be given away most likely

School started for me last week. Thank you for bringing up the classes because i got homework in at least half of them.   Not doing it though, gotta make me some graphics!
