Hi all,

 

We've just released a new major feature - Daily Quests!

 

Each day you play, you will now see a new Daily Quest in the right-hand sidebar. If you complete the quest before midnight UTC (Server Time), a collect button will appear at the bottom of the box which you can click to receive the reward. Note also you'll gain progress in the Daily Quests medal that was recently added for each Daily Quest you complete and collect the reward for.

 

Once you collect the reward, the Daily Quest will disappear from the sidebar until midnight (UTC) passes.

 

We hope you like the initial release of this new feature and we're also planning to expand it further in the future with a larger variety of quests and rewards that can be generated.

 

Note: The Daily Quest (and reward) isn't the same for every player every day.

Great job hoof. Love the idea behind this. Nice to see an idea be taken on board and developed rather than left in the annals of history.

 

My first quest is to defeat 200 titan creatures for +19,000 gold... I am going to go with no but thanks for the offer.

 

Anyone that is willing to do that for 19k gold I salute your dedication.

Yeah - I wasn't sure on that one actually. You are moving one step, but maybe the stamina should count as 2 towards the quest?

If several players have that quest, it's likely they'll start faster

Either 2 steps counted or 1 stamina used - imbalance as it is now.

I realised that otherwise the quest would be ridiculous. But I posted it how it's phrased in the quest. Is it worth changing the text? Just to clarify for those who will elect to be irrational?

Only thing is with some quests that are impossible to do (kill more than 75-200 super elite creatures) in just 24hours.

What do you think a reasonable amount of Super Elites would be?

Okay, I have to kill 250 Titan and every 10 or so it resets to 0 with No titan doubler!

50 would be an optimal number for someone over level 1000 given the number of SE from level 30-1000 and taken in consideration that others might have that daily quest as well.

Current stam?   I would'nt blow my pvp protection for max stam let alone current stam..

I'd like to suggest that players place their own quests here as they are different for different players (assuming random). Prizes also appear to be random (or perhaps attached to the quest). 

 

AS I'M RAPIDLY UPDATING, HOOF IS RAPIDLY FIXING BASED ON PLAYER FEEDBACK. 

 

In other words, take this tongue in cheek. As of 20:46 on September 1, I'm going to let it ride for now. 

 

Word has it so far that neither Quest Hunter nor Titan Doubler works.

 

So far we've got:

 

Defeat 225 Canine creatures: reward 20 reserve stam. (mine)

 

Defeat 200 Super Elites.... this was got by a level 1... 200 is def too high. I have a guildie that rocks the kill log but no way 200 is happening. Not sure what the prize is.

 

Take 200 hits on a Titan. Reward for the 200 titan kills is 19k gold.

 

In another, defeat a Titan 175 times, get +6 allegiance tokens.

 

Daily Quest   Defeat 5 active players in normal PvP   0 / 5Gain +75 Current Stamina

 

175 avian gives +7 max stam. 

 

Defeat 225 Dwarf creatures +100 current stam

 

Traverse 400 tiles for Gain +9 Allegiance Tokens.

 

Travel 500 tiles to gain +100 Current Stamina.

 

Defeat 175 Legendaries gain +5 allegiance tokens.

Maybe four max? *scratches head* 

 

What was the prize? Personally, I think just one should be enough. These aren't always cake to find. Of course, there are those that respawn... rough call for me. 

 

Main issue for me was the "level".

Thanks for all the hard work in adding the daily quests! I am going to complete mine soon even though the rewards to stam usage are mediocre at best.
