Would you please explain to others what Discord is, and what it is used for? I was unaware, and had to do some research.

Discord simply put is a service for online gamers that allows for real time communication. It has however quickly evolved into a platform that allows people with the same interests to commune together.

Some of you may be familiar with TeamSpeak. Discord is the same but a lot less complicated. The Republic of Cern N.E.E. (new earth embassy) Is and will be an actual United Nations type virtual world based around all things New Earth.

A place where Alliances can have their own Embassies represented within N.E.E. Alliances can have a "building" where they can discuss operations, and in another "room/s" private plans can be discussed with the Alliance leader and Co-leaders in secret
The possibilities are endless where this can go but I'm starting with the Embassy first. There is voice,text and TTS-Text to voice. It may take a while to catch on as the game is new but we will see what happens.

Sounds awesome! Thanks for setting this up, 7RSB7. 

 

It might be helpful to note that there are four regions of OpNewEarth presently. Each region is its own environment with its own alliances.

Your right that would be a great idea! I will be making a total of four Embassy
Chat rooms, one for each region for starters. When and if this catches on I will
Add the "New Earth Assembly Hall" Chat room. (I'm envisioning the Star Wars
Intergalactic Council Hall here )
Where all regions can come and meet and exchange ideas.
Each regions Chat room will have its own Moderator (Region Representative)

Building it up slowly..we'll see what happens.

What's wrong with using LINE..? Or Skype or one I did like for chat and voice chats which was Kakao? I may be missing something but It seems like a lot of work (for you especially) when there are perfectly good options already in use. Appreciate that you've put a lot of effort into this, just not sure I can see the benefit.

Its not just alliance based..the end goal is multi-alliance participation with each alliance having their own "building" for voice,text and TTS. And a central "Embasy" where we all gather as well.
Like an online United Nations..for Op:New Earth. The beginning takes time. But as it grows I will give certain participants moderator abilities. The Alliance Leaders
get Mod status anyway to have privacy and control over their Embassy Space.

Yes they have gone down in New Earth history as the first Alliance participating in the New Earth Embassy Program. They have secured a seat in the New Earth Parliament. Eventually we hope other Alliances come on line in the coming months.

Maybe you could help spread the word..it would be much appreciated.
