OBS* Today have happening a problem, and many avi makers and friends and other players too come to my AH and acuse me being a Text-Slapping; the discussion come almost entire day, but to prove and shut up some guys i make 2 Videos showing a construction of 2 kinds of AVI´s and 1 extra of a avi with i preserve the art original, I will put the videos here to ANYONE with have doubt of my work or my quality see im not a text-slapping.

 

And i take any atk like today a good thing, because shows im back in market and some people cannot deal with this =) ...

Hate to be the bad guy but text slapping was frowned upon 2 years ago and it's still frowned upon today...Just because you're slapping a generic frame with text, it's still considered text-slapping.

No, i make almost all lightning differenced, the change of quality and filters to dont explode the colors in HD monitors, and more, if you see the original images you will repair i modify the images, make borders, all kind of effects to be better, and i have my own bookart too in Epilogue.net with have more than 300 arts with my own name... 

 

So im not text slapping i modify all images before put there, or you think i will stay 1 month drawning a art from scratch to put here ?, if you think this you are much innocent; and i can garantee not one people here make this because to put 10 he will needs at least 1 year to draw with some quality...

 

And more i dont have said i draw every art, i catch the images from artbook from my friends and change then to make a avi because this is unique, im the only one with have permission to catch this images from hes artbooks in epilogue.net...

I agree with Crzy, a text-slap is a text-slap, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. You did almost nothing to the work except text and a border and zoomed it in a little bit.

 

Go get a render and a stock and combine the 2 with some C4Ds or some effects or something, make them blend together. This is pitiful and I think you can do much much better.

Man blend some imagens is a good and easy idea but i dont make with this arts because is already good this, my friends have drawned this all and i dont fell is a good idea change he's arts...

From the [FAQ]-

 

"Text slapping as we call it is mostly just taking an image and throwing text on it, you may crop it, you may even change the color of the image or parts of the image. In this there is really no work/alteration done to the image."

So if you catch a image and make a shadown and use the Ctrl+u to change the basic color and put there is not a text slapping ? for me ALL IS TEXT SLAPPING because no one of yours and no one here in FS make the own art from scratch and sorry but change the color like everyone is making to pastel pattern is more easy than change the ilumination of a image...

You chose the easy way to make art and our work isn't text slaps, stop saying that we are all wrong and you are right, if you think you what your doing is right then don't post it here on the graphics forum, post it on any other forum, you can post here when you take a render and make actual art, if using a render is bad then why are all this renders sites exist ? Plz fix your style or don't post here

YOU SAYING THIS TO ME ? , dont make me laugh baby; you catch some pics from internet and use Gimp or any other program to make that with is in your avi ah, and sorry man but yours arts is a copy of pics from gandalf, catwoman and others from google and have a low quality; you only change a color and use pre-made patterns and come talk to me ?; learn use a photoshop correctly before talk to me... 

 

And the most you talk more i make and more i post, with someone from HCS think im wrong i will aceppt his opnion but i dont aceppt your opnion because your is only more one trying make my avi ah close, but this will never happen, i have more than 4 years in FS and more than 2k avi´s selled ... sorry beauty

My computer is broken down that's why I closed my shop, also I don't need to prove anything as people post the renders in my shop themselves lol and I use the render they post in my shop but yeah would like to see you making your work lol

I'm sorry that all this crap is going on your forum post and I can delete it when we come to an understanding.

 

Since I already posted your picture and the minimalistic changes that were done to it, I'm going to post one of clock's now.

 

 

Yes he did use a render that he did not create. You are allowed to use renders and stocks with the key being that there must be "work/alteration done to the image." 

 

This isn't a text slap because there is clear work done to the piece outside of lighting, colors, text, etc.

 

1) The background is completely different

 

2) Glowing was added around the hands

 

3) There are faint dots that weren't appart of the original image

 

I'm definitely not a pro but I hope this explains why clock's image isn't a text slap. The fact that there is an entirely different background should be enough, but there's also the additional stuff that makes it different from the original image.

 

The work you posted (as far as I can tell) is a cropping of the original image while maybe increasing the brightness. Since everything is the same, except some minor changes, I believe it would be considered a text-slap.

 

If the video you post does show significant changes, then I am really sorry about accusing you of text-slapping and will do my best to erase my posts
