The artists here have been working on updating creature and item art and even some creatures descriptions from early levels when they have a free moment, giving them a fresher look and some of the creatures new depth.
We will keep you all updated on the latest art changes in this thread

Might be fun to share ... just a thought
I know i'm a bit greedy, but could you look into adding another facet to the game, as big as titan hunting, gvging, arena, etc. Would be fun to compete in yet another aspect ... if you got the time.

still nice changes good to see that new players get some new things as well.
Might i suggest, when the artwork is done, is looking into the usefulness of some sets at the lower levels?
ive farmed 3-4 different low level sets but noone ever even wanted them because the rest of the sets are so much better

Take for example the following potions with the Animal Magnetism effect:
Luring Potion (Lvl 150)
Potion of Hunters Lore (Lvl 250, 120 minutes)
Hunters Brew (Lvl 250, 240 minutes)
See what I mean? Just look at the pictures. You won't feel any 'improvement' in potency because the images look unrelated to each other. If this is really the intention then I'm sorry to say that it's a huge turn-off design-wise.
Since this game is obviously inspired by Blizzard's Diablo and World of Warcraft, why not follow their already established design techniques. Weak potions should look basic and simple. As potions grow in potency, modify the basic potion by adding more detail to it, but don't radically deviate the design of stronger potions from the basic potion. They should still have something in the graphic that will make them look related to each other.
Anyway, that's just one of the many comments I have on this game.

Jumbos Shield
Seriously? This was a huge turn-off the first time I saw this in guild inventory. I almost quit this game outright. This reeks of laziness, to be quite honest. Might as well take a picture of my dog and slap it on a blue circle, create a rotating animation, then call it a so-and-so shield. You'll attract a lot of new players with this strategy.
Banshee Helm
This one cracks me up. This doesn't look like a helm at all. It looks more like the underside of an angry you-know-what. And it has eyes LOL.
Edit:
This is off-topic but still somewhat related to the above regarding laziness. It is about your item-naming techniques (or lack thereof). The world is littered with items having the following naming format:
Armor of W Boots of X Shield of Y Amulet of ZPerhaps a little creativity is in order? Like, prep-end or append adjectives to the name? Example: Arnold's Amulet of Femininity or Gaytard's Rune of Lost Manliness. Bottom line is, make it interesting.
Also, the way they are named:
Amulet of Barvoth Amulet of Barzoth Amulet of Beeakle Amulet of Beeale Rune of Eligharth Rune of Elighjar Rune of Elighlar Rune of Elighmar Rune of ElightarSource - FallenSword Wiki
Are you using a baby name-generator to create these item names? I might as well name it "Rune of Qwerty" or "Rune of Test123".
If these items are too common and irrelevant, then why name them in the first place? Why not just call them 'Blue Feldspar-studded Gold Amulet' without using proper names?
You get the drift. Think about it.

Yeah don't worry as we get to redrawing those items ( and potions) and we will update them - there are lots of stuff we want to do - but it does take time.
carnage set was changed - to reflect the new image of the creature that drops them, the corrupted knight.
please no lists - we will get to items in time.
As for names of items... I don't think if its really possible to change the names. As much as i would like to with some. And any set stat changes and such, thats for another topic.
