Okay, I entered To3 for the first time today with a full group of level 35\34's and a level 40. The perfect group too, 2 DPS, 2 healers, and a tank. Well, within 30 seconds our whole team as annihilated. This happened a few more times, even with a switch of a level 35 tank to a level 40 tank (we lasted maybe a full minute). So what I'm wanting to know is, will hcs fix this? Its taking everything in me not to rage and write reflecting how mad I am. The dungeon is way too OP.

that dungeon has always been pretty tough..
but since they've made changes to skills so lvl 40's weren't so overpowered i think they forgot that the lower levels would find it increasingly difficult..
my first thoughts with the recent changes was how tough would To3 be at level now and you answered it perfectly this is why i missed this dungeon..
Crofil - 49 O=(`-`Q)
l0rdka0s - 49 Tank
Ridcully - 49 healer
Liforc - 49 Ranger
Nihilus - 49 Warsin
+ others

Well I just want them to put this on top priority list, I mean its a dungeon! Its one of the most important things to the game. I don't mind it too much atm since I just tried it today, but I've never seen something so op in this game. Pretty soon I'm sure it'll reflect kind of harshly though.

who was your healer? did he have and use crimson chain and drak prayer? was party members using blind in rotation? the dungeon is hard yes but it's possible.. everything shouldn't be easy.. i think To3 was one of the things they got right.
not to mention that they intended it to be hard, that's why it is the only dungeon where the first boss doesn't reset when you die, and you can re-enter while the group is in combat with it.
but yeah
first boss = healer test (aoe heals and dmg reduction are key)
2nd boss = healer test and attention test (have to move away from the aoe rock drops)
3rd boss = tank and spank if tank know's to pull him to corner so his back is to everyone else.
4th boss = dps test. (have to get the add down asap)

Our main healer was ice, also ChicagoStorm helped heals.yes I agree everything should hold out as a challenge but To3 is ridiculous awol. No way it should be considered level 35. Everyone dies before healers can react since its basically impossible to get past the ink and aoe attacks the first boss has.

but it isn't, a single crimson chain heals for as much as the largest aoe attack he has does.... then take into account that everyone has/should have blind (if you're not using all skills available then how can complain?) so thats 30 seconds of 25% dmg reduction + 12 more seconds of 50% dmg reduction from snowfall while it's also healing a level 35 healer can easily do this.... on top of all that a tank can empathy the healer (this would be the only time empathy is used for the dmg transfer instead of threat generation) to help protect the healer and use frozen phalanx on self during the empathy to protect himself....
that is all more than enough to handle it but in the end it all comes down to the healer
i've ran the dungeon since the patch, it is totaly doable if the things i've already mentioned are true. just need a GOOD healer, a decent tank, and the rest of the team to play their toons with everything available to them
the patch didn't REALLY make anything harder (except solo grinding) it just made things less fun... we have less freedom and myself and many others signed up and stuck with this game because of the freedom's it HAD

and ice isn't REALLY a healer, he should had told you that (believe he probably did) he is a hybrid mage/healer pvp build totaly not suited for healing lots of aoe dmg

30 set is actualy worth getting sense you'll use it from 30-40 the 35 set isn't worth getting it is same stats as the 30 set.
however i dont think a suggestion to a dungeon should be "skip it" haha

Its not impossible to do though, i did it with a team of lvl 34's and one tank . But that one tank needs to be a beast like fable, he always soles the first boss we tend to die alot by the octopus ...... But we did the dungeon without dying much

It's a leveling dungeon now. If HCS wants anyone to do it while leveling they need to make it easier for people that level to do it.

I am one of those players who didn't even tried doing to3. I bought myself the level 30 set and it will have to do till level 40 where I will try to get enough runs to get at least the level 40 weapons. My biggest concern is however the lack of players willing to do those dungeons, you really need a good healer/tank combo to do those and the high level ones are all bussy with levelling their new chars or doing World Bosses. Sadly it looks like that the independent players who want to play doing something else then Dungeons are not an priority for HCS.

As awol said I'm a pvp prophet-Mage hybrid which I said before we ran (the only reason I wanted to run is last night me, fable, raziel (to practice tanking) chicago, and johnnydaymon did a run and it went pretty smoothly so I wanted to see if I could solo heal a run with a lvl 34 tank)
i was very very wrong, the first boss 2 shotted kirito and CS and I forgot who our other DPS was but they survived because of bene and ~55 damage reduction with redemption with talents for a bit
eventually only I and the tank were left and I died trying to res someone so the tank did too
we gave it another try and wiped again then swapped our tank for fable who can solo it and we survived about midway through the boss with both mages in our party and me healing/dpsing until he enraged then it was only fable left and he couldn't solo it in enrage mode
after this I went and healed to3 just fine up until the last boss at 100k health when ads spawned (just with mana issues I had to use a lot of potions)
anyway in conclusion to3 does not need a nerf I just need to stop over trying my capabilities
edit: if it needs to be nerfed maybe so the octo doesn't do as much aoe damage or maybe aoe damage 2 more seconds apart or something but besides that its a great dungeon

I only managed to do t03 five times and in all the times except one i had me and another healer around my level both with snowstorm, (once we had sd and between his benediction snowstorm and my crimson dark prayer everyone was alive), the thing is one healers casts snowstorm the other crimsons's and dark prayer, when one snowstorm is finished the other puts it up and starts spamming crimson. the time we only had me as a healer, we died when the octopuss has 19% hp and FABLE FREAKING SOLOED THE REST OF THE BOSS... yes that time we had a level 40 tank, and fable was nutz that time.
And there is already 3 or 4 topics on to3 in the forums... and livingtarget or anakiro or l3fty cant remember wich, said that the octopuss would have its wave alittle bit nerfed or by reducing the octo casting time or a bit of the wave damage, imo the only problem is the casting speed of the octo, since i have seen him cast 2 waves one after the other countless times, the other 3 bosses are manageable and not that hard with a level 34 team.
but it isn't, a single crimson chain heals for as much as the largest aoe attack he has does.... then take into account that everyone has/should have blind (if you're not using all skills available then how can complain?)
HUM? blind is 100g at level 34 i can understand why some do not have blind, you just cant remember awoll
Wave has a critical chance so ... crimson needs to critical so that your comment is fully correct

Thanks for being so active in this post, ice don't blame yourself, I believe the dungeon is just too strong to be considered level 35 (: thanks for the repairs also, you're a good guy!

Actually the level 35 set does not have same stats as the level 30 set. I show a single example (gloves).
