maybe try fix double mob xp....

Yea, we will have tons of undergeared level 45 noone wanna take for runs. Dont think thats good. I know as a tank I usually dont take anyone to level 45 dungeons unless geared in full TR. Run just takes too long with alot of undergeared dps.

We've been working on a number of optimizations based on the feedback / problems we've seen with the new engine over this weekend, we're planning on rolling out a new build very soon which should help considerably. Also with the talent / class patch coming in the near future we'll be issuing a respec at this point.

<14:37:47:802> WARNING [GBAppCore-><init>: 25] Falling back to software

somewhere back in this thread i put the specs of my laptop i can find then again if needed

Have you updated your graphics driver? It should be a driver from Intel and not from Microsoft.

To open the device manager, go into start menu and type: devmgmt.msc

In the device manager find your graphics drivers under "Display adapters" right click properties and then in the driver tab it has your driver provider. You probably want to go to the Intel website and get the latest drivers as these are usually more up to date.

If it still happens let us know.

I believe LT is looking for more detailed information.  (Examples from Windows 7, but not very different from other versions.)

From the control panel, bring up the device manager.  Select the display adapter and right click for properties.

device_manager.jpg

Check the 'driver' tab.  The four important items here are the driver provider, date, version, and the digital signer.

amd_properties.JPG

This information can then be used (in theory) to look at the manufacturer's website and see if it's the correct driver.  I always go to the manufacturer for drivers.  I don't know if this is still true, but in the past using the built in 'update driver' option did not always get the latest, and latest meant the latest indexed by MS.  (Also, MS doesn't like OpenGL, as it competes with their proprietary DirectX).

(And yes, my driver is also out of date.  I'm as bad as anyone, only updating when there's a problem ;) )

went to the intel website and updated my graphics driver

Edging out of my hardware comfort zone.  Going to add a couple of thoughts, then someone else (HCS?) will have to take over.

Did a google search for '8.15.10 driver opengl'.  Came up with pages of driver bugs.  Not sure if any effect Eldevin, but it is a concern.

There are some risks to manually forcing the update of a driver, especially if the computer manufacturer uses a customized version (as some do).  Windows does have a 'rollback driver option' if an update goes wrong, but beyond existence I know nothing about it.

The Intel site (intel.com) offers two ways to upgrade.  There is the automatic update at http://www.intel.com.../support/detect.  This is supposed to fail if the manufacturer uses a custom driver.  I guess this is what you did?  If not, perhaps a good next step to try (wish I knew more about it before recommending).

More interesting is the manual update search results (for the 3rd gen Intel HD 4000) https://downloadcent...eng&ProdId=3712.  This gives version 15.33.22.3621 dated 5/21/2014.  Not sure why your update didn't give you a later version.  Or if this would fix any errors.  Or why the digital signer is Microsoft and not Intel.  But again may be worth a try.

Hopefully this will help you or someone fix this issue, as I've reached the limits of my current knowledge.  Short of time at the moment, but if this isn't resolved in a couple of weeks I'll re-enable my Intel HD graphics and see what happens.

Listen ......... be very careful with what you are doing to your drivers as don't mess up stuff for the sake of a downloadable eldevin client in BETA and farrrrrrrrr from optimized and look around at all the other people having issues. I would say, unless you desperately need to see far off into the distance and new camera angles, stick to java version. I played the website version when I played and survived. Unless you are getting your driver updates off your manufacturer and feel 100% confident, I would not suggest downloading things off websites you don't know about.

Agreed about not updating drivers unnecessarily, but that particular driver appears broken.  The question is why auto-update is not giving a newer driver.  I probably overstated the risk in my previous post (called covering my -ss).  Although it is a good idea to contact the manufacturer first, as they may have further information or a driver they have specifically tested.

BTW, I would would not label Intel a "don't know about" website.

You minx, I was talking in general to everyone. As so many seem frustrated and seeking out fixes. Where as I would not be so quick to start blaming their ends and more so that the downlaodable client is beta and far from optimized and seems to have generated knock on effects to the game and breakdowns. This is from reading all the threads and catching up. If anyone is in doubt, wait for an official version that is getting good responses and less errors. If you know what you are doing and are comfortable downloading and trying new things, they can work away.

another safety sugestion is

when u update all drivers,be aware, that its not beta versions, just stick to the normal versions

u can ruin games or machine with some beta updates
