While I can understand to force a higher participation by a higher kill amount for the bigger prices, I do think 25,000 is way to much. Not because it cannot be done, but it is just to boring to have to kill 25,000 mobs. I am nearly there, but I have a hard time enjoying it.
Perhaps you guys can think of a way to make it a bit more interesting than just mindless keyboard punching.
I do like the way the event was setup though, and do apreciate it.
You don't have to kill 25,000 creatures?
In fact if done correctly the number of actual kills required is nowhere even close to that amount.
The X4 global event doubler effectively reduces the amount down to 6,250 required kills, then factor in that there are creatures that count as five kills each and the number drops dramatically again down to a paultry 1,250...
1,250 isn't a difficult milestone to reach in an event that last for 6 days, not at all.

Throw in Light Foot, Conserve and AM... this is actually not that bad of a deal.

Don't need LF at all if you have a distilled AM500. It's a guaranteed respawn, you basically just sit in the same square and smash away at the same enemies over and over and over...

My bad... did not mean 25K kills... kill score of 25K.
I think I just not have playing enough lately, I totally forgot about the booster pot... I just did the last 4K kills needed in less than 20 mins. :S

Where exactly do you get an AM500 pot, and how much do they cost? Remember that not everyone is rich like you. )
I do agree that the 25k isn't that hard to reach. If only hunting the x2 and 5x guys you can easily achieve 2.5 - 3 kills per stamina used (that includes walking and using the Ketchup pot, minus the doubler). So the 6250 drops to between 2k and 2.5k kills

Ok true, but that is a HUGE waste of that pot.

Not really a waste considering you get 4 more chests for earning ruby For all the headache of running around a map trying to find critters, you use one global to earn back 4 more easily.

(Nice "trick"... kill 1000 Pesky Spooks and end up with a funny-named recipe for a Doubler 150 potion.)

Still a bit unsure on the LE event, the new sets were all a bit the same and not sure they are any better than current gear out and all attack + damage, which we have loads of. Never mind
great event in any case.

Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice, Silence of The Lambs, The Invisible Man
Did I miss any? (not sure if any of last years are supposed to be film chars)

Although if you are willing to at least move around a little, there is an AM400 that is an unbound quest reward. Can't remember exactly what level the quests are offhand though, as they are unbound however you can have access to them at any level.
The potion is called 'Serum of the Hunter' and it is what I had used on my first large GE score, it's remarkably effective. (Just not 100% effective like the AM500 distilled)

also the Emaciated Fellow is based off the Slender man myth(http://creepypasta.w...The_Slender_Man)I liked the all out movie theme on the new stuff. Every new LE, the Titan and the smasher set are all film inspired

Serum of the Hunter. Level 1244. And that's also it's minimum level. :wink:Although if you are willing to at least move around a little, there is an AM400 that is an unbound quest reward. And from what I read, the top players arent even happy with the top tier prizes anyway..
Oh and another tip, the 3 special rewards, dont give to top 3 players, we generally know that your 'friends' will be the top 3 each time. Make it random 3 from top 100, give the rest a chance, and a reason to make an effort.
p.s. Not having a go at you big stam guys, love you all. Just not sure these events are organised, rewarded, calculated, interesting enough for the majority to want to participate. Top 3 is out of reach of probably 95%ish players, top 100 out of reach of 'a lot'% of players. No?

Although it is a rather hollow victory after SOO many whiners complained about the high target.
HCS, you know we now feel entitled to a ruby achievement on these global events, every time they are released right? Next time, just tell us to suck it up princesses and try harder if we start moaning, geeze...
