I can quickbuff myself from the guild thing. Not sure if that's a FS Helper thing.
Its not, but then the issue is how will a guildless person quickbuff himself?

To keep it simple, the potions created will automatically be guild tagged (but you can't recall them) and bound. Note you won't be able to untag them.
Hmmm not sure if I explained (thought) about this right. The point is that you won't be able to make potions, keep them in your backpack then move around giving them to different guilds. When you create a potion and are not in a guild you won't be able to put it in the guild store. If you make a potion while in a guild it will act like it is guild tagged (recalling could work actually - ignore what I said about that before!). The main point is that you wouldn't be able to 'untag' it and then transfer it to another guild.
Hope that makes more sense now
So, I make a potion at my own expense for my own use and wait 5 hours to receive it, then someone recalls and uses it just before I need it?
Way to make composing fail from the off
you are in a crappy guild if they do that.
No, I'm in a great guild. My query was in response to Hoof saying that composed potions would only be guild tagged AND recallable. That would mean any guild member could recall if they have the permission.
The original proposal was to have the potions bound. A request was made to have potions be usable by guild members or bound while not available to be traded. This was agreed as a choice that would be available; bind to self OR guild.
Hoof has put it right now:
We'll add an option for if the potion should be tagged or not. Note if you don't tag it though, you won't be able to later put it in the guild store (otherwise it would be possible to trade them in a round about way).

so, if I want to share a high powered potion with the guild, I choose to guild tag it. Then, how do we prevent a low level from taking it and wasting it?
Might be time to implement another layer of recall permissions.
Since you can't send a potion to someone, even a guildie. That's how we handle this with other high-level potions, just send direct to people if they need.
I would love to see an option to bind a composed potion directly to a guild member.
My guild has held various contests for a while and there have been different rewards, but they never seemed quite right.
For example, giving someone a specific item is most often quite useless because the player often has no use for it or already has it. Giving someone FSPs or gold or a guild tax reduction seems a bit tacky but it is at least useful to the winner.
Yet once composing got announced a lot of us have been enthusiastic about being able to award the winners with composed potions.
I am sure other guilds will be having similar thoughts about it.
The idea now is that composed potions are either inventor-bound or guild-tagged.
But if we want to award composed potions to the winners then we don't want other guild members being able to use them (by accident or on purpose).
Having a third option to make composed potions bound to a specific guild member would be great!

It's only a few minutes after the server midnight. Still close enough to "evening" in my book.
And Hoof has been working really hard on it.

That really would be great. It's currently rather difficult to be creative about rewards and gifts.

players should have the ability to get quest items that are given to them or rewarded from previous quests which are needed for future quest if they are destroyed... relying on support to hand out destroyed necessary quest items stops you dead in your tracks, especially during the epic quests.
why are footprints above all else that is needed to fine tone this game *shakes head*
