I suggested this some time back and would involve a major quest addition, that would last anywhere up to 500 lvls. Since the way the game is designed now, it actually forces people NOT to play the game,.. only hunt with full stam, when lvls get harder you try to add more stam, so it takes longer for stam to build up, so longer between hunts, so people find other things to do. Arena and composing are good, but this would give the chance to do something else, but not required.
An Underworld or Dream World Quest, would be you,...only asleep, or through a portal, attained by use of a potion, in our real world of FS. The potion would have to be used each time and should last 1 or 2 hours of playing time, but could only be used once every 24 hours. This takes nothing away from your real world stam build up and gives you playing time while waiting for that build up.
Everyone enters this dream world with no weapons, clothes, buffs or anything, and everyone is equal, starting at lvl 1, so a lvl 1500 would be the same as everyone else. The object is to get through the 500 lvls using rocks, sticks and weapons that you receive from killing creatures just as it is in the real FS, or until you learn skills, or earn enchantments or how to make potions and weapons along the way,
There are no stores, and no buffs for sale, until you reach at least level 100 in the dream world, so anything you do or learn is you alone. The weapons and armor you pick up along the way are used until they break or you replace them. The quest should not start until real FS lvl 200 or 250, and you could not progress any higher than your FS lvl. There would be 3 paths within this quest. The path least taken, Path of uneasiness, path of enlightenment.
The benefit or REWARD for completing these paths would be 3 point increase to your current skills in our real FS world per 100 lvl completed. So all 500 lvls would now make lvl 175 buffs, lvl 190 buffs. Within each path there should be quest to learn how to make different potions, say 5 different per 100 lvls. You try them out over those 100 lvls, You would then be able to take 1 of those potions as your own, to real FS world every 100th lvl. So you could have 5 potions that only you can make. (Someone else could have the same pots if they chose as you did), but it would be good if guild mates worked together to get all the different pots, as there would be a guild bonus of some type, like a relic, if all the pots were owned by the guild.
Sometime within the 500 lvls, you MUST take part in 50 PVP, or until you MUST win 10 of them. (Current PVP rules apply) You MUST assign bounties for losses and you MUST take bounties yourself, and you MUST complete 10 of them. Once this is done your PVP is completed. There should also be quests to learn magic, just like the pots, 5 per 100 lvls, and take 1 back per 100 lvls to the real world, everything the same as pots. These magics could be used like taking a potion, once a day on yourself or someone else, and last like a pot or buff. A total of 5 magics.
Another REWARD for completing these 500 lvls, would be 50 points of additional max stam, in the real world, awarded every 100 lvls completed. 250 total. Gold earned in dream world would be used for bounties, weapons and armor at auction, taxed as normal by guild, lost or gained in PVP. & 50% can be taken to real world at the end of 500 lvl quest. This quest is not designed to stay within the dream world, anything in auction not sold within 100 lvls is lost.
Medals would also be awarded for lvls completed per 100 lvls. Path Least Traveled, sniveler, whiner, wimp, thug, bully. Path of uneasiness, stable boy, maid, wench, squire, knight. Path of Enlightenment, bard, gypsy, wizard, grand champion, grand master.
One last quest at the end of completing all 3 paths, would be to become a Grand Poobaa with a reward of 50 additional max stam and increase of 5 points for a skill level of 195.
