Technically Christmas is the season of greed. Corporate greed.

We have simply been programmed by media not to notice when they convince us to give away all of our money for no apparent reason.

You'll get it back in April, though

Considering that the game is not built in a way where we don't have to login every day i was lucky i noticed this just 2 hours before it expires. 1 day is not enough. It is better than nothing but is not enough. So, thanks for this and i hope you make this a frequent event for which you give an early notice to players beforehand.

Thanks for the event, although I am level 60 and it does nothing for me I am sure it helped many that are not.

For which you give an early notice to players beforehand.

The news was posted in-game, on our Facebook and on our Twitter feed.

When? some hours before it starts? A day before? You realize we're talking about FS where it takes a week to get a normal stam bank full which means some people log in once or twice a week... Try send a notice 1 week before the event next time. Just like you do with normal XP event. It will help a lot not to miss it.

But that is exactly the point of those 'mini-events', to make then random, so people have a reason log in more often to check everything, raising the activity on the game.

What does a full stam bank have to do with composing? ;/ follow the Twitter feed. Problem solved.

People are making such a big deal out of this. Sure, the event was a nice surprise but the fact that I couldn't log on every hour to make new pots, didn't ruin my life. Why are you guys acting like you've missed out on a once in a lifetime opportunity? The event lasted 24 hours, I gained maybe an extra 6-7% towards my next level. You'd think I gained an extra 10 levels by the way some of you are going on.

Anyway, it was a nice little gesture, thanks HCS! Hopefully we have another one soon :)

I appreciated the event and i'm sure this will drive more activity in the game. I hope to see more of them.

Of course, It would have been nice if it started when we got our christmas FSP and would be an interesting concept to run an event that causes MP to go up and run an event that causes MP to go down at the same time. Not a complaint but rather something to consider for next time if your releasing around the time of a 2x event.

When the event went live. There will not be heads up for the small random events. Stam has no bearing on the Composing Event. Plus, these will appear more than twice a year, so comparing it to the Double XP events is inaccurate.

I have a better suggestion. Login everyday instead of once per week. It would be like a 7x composing event and with the composing enhancement you will be done in under a minute per day

Stam has no bearing on the Composing Event

With all due respect, you're mistaken. Stam IS relevant to composing since it is required to gather drops to defragment and then compose! What he was trying to explain is that not every player holds 100s or 1000s of frags all the time to utilize a double composing xp event. I agree! If you are going to notify players of standard 2xp events, which also require stam, then an EFFORT should be made to communicate to the community when composing events will occur at least a little in advance! You have an opportunity to be inclusive of the whole community here not just the largely upgraded players. Please consider that.

It is actually the largely upgraded players that will lose out with regards to composing events. Since his point (victor1gr) was actually that players with large stam banks don't have to log in every day, sometimes merely once a week. While obviously players with smaller stamina banks have to log in much more frequently.

These people are the ones likely to miss out on random events. (And so they should, if they know these events are random and can happen any time, and they still don't at least log on once a day 'just' to check? They have noone to blame but themselves)

Giving advanced warning for an aspect that is specifically designed to increase daily activity is nonsense and obviously counter-productive to the nth degree.

Since when we flame people for speaking up their minds? Please calm down. You don't want to give early heads up for this? Fine. Absolutely fine although i personally believe there should be and that it wouldn't hurt. Peace!

I think it would be great to make this a once per month event. Like a fixed period of every month. For instance, the first weekend ( yes more than one day ) of every month. It would be 12 times a year. Smart math ;)
