if you could dump your gold after your hunt in to upgrades that would destroy the pvp gold thefts now i dont pvp my self but i dont think we should get rid of that part of the game if its going to be like the bank deposits that would not hurt the game in any way for low lev or high lev

this maybe a stupid question, but i didnt see it asked in here as of yet. are the upgrades permanant, or do they reset at the required time and you have to buy them again? sry if this was already answered. didnt see it.

If I've paid 5 million each for 2 upgrades, they'd BETTER be permanent LOL

They are tho - if you look at the upgrade page, you'll see they are one-off upgrades, like the BP upgrade.

great addition and I too would agree that you should be able to pay these off in portions or payments. Just having them is nice but 5 million for a lower level is alot to get ahold of to buy the upgrade without making payments.

maybe a limit for how much you could pay on it per day also. That way it doesnt get rid of all of their gold and the pvp aspect is still there.

great so i got to convert up to 25 FsP to make 5,000,000 gold when you announce you are going to remove the protect gold half of protect from PvP which still wont help lower level members from being robed

i sugest keeping to the lower level gold sink's
2,500 mill gold tops or add a new one protect all gold not xp so players can make the high costs for thease upgrades and deposits

Has any decision been made on the poll/suggestion about gold upgrades being reset at 00:00 server time? It had lots of support, and I think it is worth bringing it back to your attention, as this is a Gold Upgrade announcement

There was an EXCELLENT suggestion regarding being able to pay off this upgrade in stages ? - that would be fantastic...

Yes, it's a great gold sink for those that can afford it, but those who are in the biggest pvp demographic (lower levels) will really struggle to be able to take advantage of it.

5 million gold for an upgrade that costs 50 FSP
5,000,000 gold / 50FSP alternative =100,000 gold per FSP
Not everything added to the game is going to benefit every player.
As a low level player I would send my gold to a higher level friend to hold onto while I was hunting. Then would borrow 3x the amount of gold I had from people and deposit all my gold in 1 shot and send back the loaned gold. maybe this would help you?

An even fairer option would be to have this upgrade (and just this upgrade) on a "sliding" scale ...

Say :-

Upto Level 100 :- 1 million (which is still hard to achieve, I think)

or 20k gold per FSP of the upgrade

Upto Level 300 :- 2.5 million

or 50k gold per FSP of the upgrade

Level 301+ :- 5 million

or 100k gold per FSP of the upgrade

It would cost players easily double the required gold to buy the upgrade with FSP. We were all lower levels once and got by. This upgrade is allowing the new people to pay what most of us paid all those years ago. 100k for an FSP

I like the additions and do think highly of a progressive payment system on the upgrades, as for a level discrepancy i don't think there needs to be one. Of course the obvious is to help but it can also become a loophole in deposits. I mean if i have to spend 50 fsp and one of my members only needs 10fsp for a deposit upgrade, i would shell out the 10fsp in that situation. I feel allowing them to make payments will help them upgrade their characters and even help keep their gold on hand minimal and be less of a target. And you can even go so far as to make a gold "Starter Pack" that can be paid off overtime. Also i would like to remind everyone that there are many ways for the lower levels to earn quick gold and fsp, people just need to step up and show them the ropes(Mentors where are ya )

For players where 100k is a lot of gold they can easily lose that gold 25k at a time in the max stamina, up to 250k per day. It took me months to save up for my first extra deposit as a level 90ish

That is something we could look at adding

For the sliding scale, to keep it fair for those that have already invested, perhaps when you reach that next milestone, you'd have to put up the difference to be able to keep the deposit? If you don't want to bother with having to pay the difference when you reach the next milestone, you can put the full 5 mill in... just a thought as a sliding scale is a MUST for the low levels (and make it really low until 100)

I think the prices are justified and need not change. yes they're expensive but its cheaper than the FSP upgrade.

I don't support the down payment method. PVP is part of the game and adding this method will definitely kill it.

also, i don't like decreasing the price in someway for other players. its unfair for those who invested. if i had to pay 5m for something and another guy only payed ,lets say, 3m I'll definately feel cheated.[edit] If you are gonna change the price for new players change it for all players. we were all new once.

If you don't have money, hard work is definitely a way to go.

On-topic suggestion: Could we add "bio characters" to the list of available gold upgrades? It's something minor that wouldn't affect gameplay itself, but some people might be willing to drop gold on it.

I can't bring myself to spend purple dots for them, but somehow spending gold would be easier. (Just like I've been buying the max stamina with gold upgrade daily.)

It would be awesome if there was like 125/125 bio characters upgrade. It would be nice to fit more buffs and some more information.

It is reachable for all players. Even in my range I would rob someone for holding 5 million gold on hand. If you want to buy the upgrade in installments it's called buy FSP and when you have enough to cash in for 5 million gold buy the upgrade. Lets assume FSP are being exchanged at a rate of 200k per point (Which I amsume we can all agree is reasonable). Once you have saved up 25 points, you open two tabs, the marketplace and the gold upgrades. Pre fill the the amount of the upgrade you wish to purchase, switch to the other tab, sell points and buy the upgrade as quickly as possible. you know have a bank deposit for 1/2 the price.

its cheaper than its fsp equivalent.

50fsp = 10,000,000M gold(assuming 200k=1fsp)

I would take it and run.
