Epic Tab!!!!! *fist pump* ;-)

Please, pleasepleaseplease don't make guild achievements retroactive. Hear me out: Game activity is "spotty" as it is right now. The guilds under 100 that's AREN'T struggling are truly few and far between.

A. It's better for the current players if THEY have to be the ones to work and earn up that shiny guild medal (or however you display the achievement). Keep the CURRENT players active and involved.

B. Past players really shouldn't matter. It's not what guilds have done in the past that keeps them alive and well, it's their current activity.

C. It'll add a fun element/twist to the game to see which guilds unlock what new achievements there are first. Rather than simply log in and ta-da! look we've earned a Top 10 medal for who-knows-what several years ago... guilds might actually have to hunt titans or deposit gold or whatever and then LEARN that doing so earned them a medal.

I'll go with it, either way, but I think it's just more fun if it's like the GUILDS are starting from scratch (though we can't re-start our characters).

+1, give all of us something to work towards, nothing retroactive is the best option to spur guild camaraderie and team work. It will surely get people playing more often as well. What I did last year for my guild was already rewarded by my guildmates continuing to put up with me today, give me a reason to keep playing!

a big NO to retroactive guild medals/awards - everyone should start from the same place. And, I hope, the "awards", whatever they are, are as easy for a small guild to achieve as for a big guild - i.e. they're scaled to guild size (and maybe level ?)

Hi there Everyone.

This is a heads up regarding various upgrades and additions to the game that we will be working on implementing in the coming weeks.

Next week we shall be working our way through various reported bugs, providing fixes and general improvements to the game!

Following that, we'll be working on introducing the long sought after Guild Achievements! Some of the Achievements will work retroactively. There shall also be some achievements that will be challenging to achieve that will apply bonuses to the Guild members in a manner similar to how Guild Structures work.

Once the Guild Achievements are implemented, we'll be focussing on bring new functionality to the Auction House. For example, we'll be adding the ability to place multiple auctions at once as well providing a better search function with new parameters by which to search. For example, the inclusion of an Epic tab!

Furthermore, we shall be adding more Super Elite class mercenaries based on our our staff members as well as another new content installment early next week which will take us up to level 1,480!

~ The Fallen Sword Team.

Have to say, disappointed to see that the UFSG is still being ignored by the proggies :(

I love the idea of everyone starting from scratch for their medals(though it will suck for the guild that have accomplished so much and may have already seen their best years prior), will they be displayed under the guild avi? And if so will they then be displayed when we promote on the home page? And also will the guild medals be permanent, or will they be temporary depending on the accomplishment for it? For instance you have an xp medal, kick a ton of players and then lose it because your actual xp doesn't match the required xp for the medal itself.

This made me laugh a lot! Trust me they deserve many medals as I am about as cuddly as a porcupine.

Speaking of the Auction House are you still working to remove items used in future recipes on the day of their release? Luckily I haven't been burnt by it yet, but I can see how that is frustrating.

That is something we are going to hopefully address next week as well :)

I think most of the achievements won't be retroactive. For ones that are, it would be achievemtns like a guild being established for 'x' years etc. :)

Great to hear Hoof! Btw, where is the iOS App working into this schedule? I would be wonderful to play portions of the game on my phone.

Hi

FShelper already has the option of placing multiple items in auction at once, but it would be nice to have it added to the game, FSH options don't save even i click the save option button not sure if anyone else is having this problem.

Why not fix bugs as they are reported? Why wait until there is a long list of them to do anything?

Fix what is obviously broken before you add new things... It's quite simple really.

As someone who supports multiple large ecommerce companies, in the online space;

updating the code is only one small part of the puzzle. Sure HCS is not as big as any of the companies I have interactions with, however, each change needs to go through a process.

This includes writing the fix, implementing it into a test environment, testing the new fix does what it needs to, testing the existing code functions as expected (nothing new is broken).
While this doesn't sound like a lot, it can be time consuming. Especially when you need to run regression tests over existing functions each time. If a number of small bugs can be rolled into one update, that makes more sense from a resource point of view.

As for fixing things that are broken before adding new things, this comes down to looking at the business model. Are the bugfixes going to generate more revenue than the new features which are forthcoming. If not, it's better to leave them on the backburner for the time being, and have coder time directed at what works best for the business.

Only if a bug(that requires coder [hoof, zorg, lamium] involvement) is significant (i.e. impacts a large number of people being able to play), then it will get high priority. How soon a bug is fixed depends on factors like revenue earning capacity(ability for people to donate), Number of people impacted (no one can kill a certain creature as part of a special event, whether spawning issues or otherwise) and so forth. Such recurring issues like time being out on auctions/arena while annoying, they don't specifically stop people from being able to play so are normally fixed when other pieces of work with higher priority are dealt with first.

With all that said, I know how frustrating it can be to get issues resolved, especially when it requires the developers queue in tickets.

Sounds great. Please implement my earlier suggestion of an "auto-refresh-auction" button that allows us to reset the auction time for items we place in the AH that have no bids on them.

This would save the constant juggling of items going to the collection box and then having to put them in the backpack then put them into the AH again, often very slowly, especially if you have many AH slots. With this feature you could keep your AH going and save a lot of time.

Please consider!!
