Look at it this way. If it has not stats it will be cheaper to repair.

I ususally dont even lurk the forums, but I was interested in this subject, because I've lost a couple of family members to cancer.

I think the Beard Movement is excellent. Since I could grow one, I've done so every November as a ritual. It's interesting to me that that ritual has been developed culturally in such a decent way.

Cows are to be commended for their efforts here. It is a good thing you're doing. Peoples weird greed aside, charitable contributions worthwhile to donate to can be a challenge to discern.

On another note, I've been playing FS for a couple years, and have had many interactions with Zakano whenever I've submitted a ticket. Sight unseen, I pictured this person quite different from her picture.

Quite a pleasant surprise.

Thank you for your support towards the cause, I think it is great that more awareness is being drawn towards men's health recently!

Yes...I have had that comment a fair few times about the way I look haha! :)

HCS you did yourself a disservice. Many players missed your Moo-vember story on the Home page because you put up the special over so soon after. I had several players ask me what it was.

Perhaps what people are worried about with the helm not having any stats isn't "I can't use the thing for hunting/PvP/GvG/arena so I don't want it," but rather, "I'd love to wear it and be proud to show that I gave support, but then I will be more vulnerable to PvP/GvG."

To some, a person wearing the helm will look like a good, charitable person. To others, a person wearing the helm will look like an easy target.

Perhaps a compromise, so that donators won't be afraid to show their helm, would be that wearing it provides PvP Protection for some "event" starting now and ending some days/weeks from now...then, after that, no protection and it's just a statless helm.

this is a fun helm for charity not for profit

a sugestion would be to have it mirror the same states of any PvPers worn helm if they do attack a moo giver but im not bothered ether way as its for charity

I suppose that ride won't happen. Now, which cow deleted the post? Ahhh, I shall blame BG. If I manage to get a picture of this creepy 'stache I'm sporting, I'll share :)

Ha ha, crashed and burned!

I have to say that there are an awful lot of players in game still who know nothing about the Movember event, or that the fact HCS are participating and giving the Moovember Mask to those who donate to their team. The original Movember news post was quickly followed by another news post and many players seem to have missed it, maybe a news post reminder would help? There may be a lot of players still willing to support the cause but just unaware of it, and it would be a shame they miss the opportunity.
