Most of them really look nice, just:

Alas, Poor Yorick
Guild has defeated 'x' Undead creatures.

Should only count if you kill creature of your own level (no farming, probably doubler should count too, number have to be huge)

Battered
Defeated 'x' times in PvP combat.

Sorry, it looks more like a mark of shame, i dont like it

Flimsy Things
Completely broken 'x' Crystalline items.

Nope, too abusable, i can wear 9 low durability (like 30) items and destroy them scavenging with just 12,000 gold


Ain't Easy Being Green
Guild has defeated 'x' Greenskin creatures.
and
Exorcist
Guild has defeated 'x' Demonic creatures.

Same as Undead





Id like to see:
Guild Elite killed (with a 40/50 level range from the player or the group leader who kills it)

Guild Longevity (maybe 3 or 4 years from the creation)

Guild Loyalty (members have been in the guild for a total of xxx days (something like 20/30 years total would be nice)

Guild groups created

Guild buffs casted

Guild levels gained by members (5k? 10?)

Added a lot more suggestions to my first relply.

The achievements should go from hard for bronze tier to almost impossible for ruby tier. It is over a verry long time of period. So would be no fun if you can get them all in a month or two of work.

Maybe use a exponentional or power formula to calculate the amount for each achievement tier.





reply @ dowuones ... few grinding achievements won't hurt, it gives certain people with lots of stamina something to do.

as long as none of the achievements invovle donations to hunted cow then i will be satisfied. Us poor players would never get that those achievements.

I think you mean don't involve. but I agree with your point. Although, if a medal can be abused and won ... it will. just how it is.

especially, if there is some additional benefit beyond the medal.

Achievements will be similar to medals, but won't have a level (Bronze, Silver, Gold etc.), but instead some will have special bonuses for achieving them (such as an increase to your Max Stamina or an extra Inventory (Backpack) Slot).

I agree with you on your formula in exponentiation power calculations so it would take longer to get upper tiers of bonus that is being represented of the achievement. :D

I'm all for it, but i would use more stamina killin level 1400 creature in stead of level 2 Zombie :wink:

Also Greenskin are in the Scavenging for 1 gold... achievement should be at least 100 milllions kill (at least we sink some gold)

There shouldn't BE benefits. The achievement / medal "SHOULD" be all the incentive needed ..

how about a guild achievement for gaining " x " amount of levels in " x " amount of months or year ??

Ya know, I don't think I like this one. Many guilds homed players that eventually moved on and became awesome players. Where I see the gap is those guilds that got the players interested in staying with the game, get no reward for having given these players the help, motivation and love they needed to stick with it and grow, even if it wasn't ultimately be with them. Many move quickly on to corporate guilds and use those guilds to accelerate. I'd like to see a system where the small guilds that bring in a player and hooks them on the game, gets a little kickback for the player's future success. How to do this ..... well, you don't pay me to come up with that. But, I'll cast my vote towards upgrading the system when you offer them :D

Hence my saying that I hoped that they are scaled, depending on guild size / level / member level. The achievements need to be as easy for a small (number of members) guild to get as for a large (number of members) guild

I agree with you smaller guilds will have a difficult time to keep up with upper guilds.

I want to re-post my statement and apologize part of it did not follow through in the post.

I agree with you on your formula in exponentiation power calculations so it would take longer to get upper tiers of bonus that is being represented of the achievement. :D


The bonus should be progressive to help all guilds have something to look forward too. Just an idea. I use tier for progressive of it would be cool but if one time wonder that is good too. Just some thoughts here and mean no offense to any post made earlier.

(just a basic statistic)

Battered
Defeated 'x' times in PvP combat.

* Fee Fi Fo Fum
Guild has defeated 'x' titans.
As getting titan medals is already in this game,
and the guild gets rewarded with titan points,
this is actually a nice statistic to know.

* Flimsy Things
Completely broken 'x' Crystalline items.
(what's the point?!)

* Golden Idol
Guild has held a relic for 'x' days.
(I am curious about how this will work,
if you can hold a relic for 3 years and you lose it,
how would you ever get hold of a relic and improve
the 3 years to the 5 years statistic? :-D.)

* Ain't Easy Being Green
Guild has defeated 'x' Greenskin creatures.
(*yawn*)

* Know Thy Enemy
Guild has defeated 'x' players in PvP.
(the pvp-players will love this one)

* Soldiers of Fortune
Guild has hired 'x' mercenaries.
(*yawn*)

* Exorcist
Guild has defeated 'x' Demonic creatures.
(*yawn*)

* Builder
Guild has built 'x' structures.
(can't you just see that when you click on a guild...)

Note these Achievements are not finalized yet.

We would also love to hear any ideas you have for personal and guild achievements on the forum (we plan to add a lot of them!)

In my opinion, when you call it a guild ACHIEVEMENT,
it has to be something that is impressive, that blows you right in the face
when you look at a guild;

For example :

* This guild has 100 1500+ level players
* This guild has contributed 1.000.000.000 kills to global events
* This guild has 100 players that have been in this guild for over 3 or (5) years
* This guild has won 500 gvg's in a row
* This guild has won 100 titan drops in a month
* This guild has 1.000.000.000 potential maximum stamina
* This guild has completed 1.000 quests in a month
* This guild has recruited 50 new guild members in a month
(it does not always have to be the big guilds that get achievements :-D,
or to put it in another way, even big guilds may get some tough achievements)
* This guild has 150.000 backpackslots available
* This guild has finished 1.000 bounties successfully in a month

and so on, and so on,

I'm looking forward on what the cows will bring up,
it will be a very nice addition,
I'm sure,

a personal achievement for recruiting people to your guild, has to accept and be active for at least 1 week for it to count towards the achievement.
