I "believe" that the huge participation in kills on this event had very little to do with the prizes themselves, but with the nice frag drops from the Destroyers. I'm not sure what the final numbers were, but I'm guessing we beat times three or four already. 

What I "might" disagree with is that it be "blindly" applied to all GEs. 

 

I agree it shouldn't be applied blindly, though I suspect the reasons are more varied.

 

My contribution this time was strongly influenced by the derth of new content since the end of January leaving me with stamina to burn

 

(no - not top 100, but still > 10x overqualifying)

i buy a ton of frags and compose a lot.  these events have no effect on me when it comes to buying frags.  i have spent a ton of gold on frags and will continue to
