This would be good for players at EoC I think. But what about those 25, 50, 100 levels below that still want to be deleveled for gxp?

I'm not proposing we nerf anything though. I'm saying we change it so that you don't need to de-level to be able to contribute to your guild xp
OK, I think I understand what you are proposing now.
So if a player is fighting a level 1700 creature and they are either 1699,1700,1701, 1702, ... 1800. It will always generate the same guild XP.
This is something that seems like a fair solution.
One question: in current game mechanics. if a level 1500 player kills a 1700 creature do they earn more XP than a 1700 player killing that same monster?

I see you finally got the 1st point.
2nd question's answer is no with the new Xp formula you get the same XP per kill on creatures as long as your at the same or below its level as the xp per kill is based on the xp needed to get to the level above the creature

Correct - the guild xp wouldn't be reduced

The creature determines the xp so it would be the same amount.

So if I am reading this correctly then even at say level 1800, you are getting 100 xp off a 1700 creep but full value of the creep kill will be put tward your guild xp say 200k xp (just random numbers no actual values) So basically an EoC player can just keep using their pots they have and continue to raise their guild xp without any real benifit to your AL. Causing the BB to be baren once again? I understand why people want to have this push through but the ripples by doing this will be felt over time.

Why would you want to get deleveled with the current proposal? It would be more efficient to just go forward as you get more xp the higher the level you are

Ill have to agree that this does seem like a good solution... at least to keep pollution off the bounty board.

the empty bounty board is a whole other issue.. the lack of PvP content and innovation plus the inability to commit to what would bring popularity to PvP instead of sticking to the system the only attracts a small population of the game is what leaves the bounty board empty at times..

.........although it does suck for players that have spent a lot of resources deleveling. Maybe implement this after XP event to retain fairness.
they will still level up faster and easier by farming that champion on autoreload with AM500... which still is an issue that i guess will be ignored..

Despite the tension and the feelings I may have toward others for all the commotion.. I agree.. I think the implement should be on the FIRST of 2014 SERVER TIME 00:00 .. To allow players to relevel..

I dont think it matters that they would relevel-up faster. New changes proposing that deleveling wont even be necessary in the future. They should be able to regain their levels as quick as they thought they would be able to.... and others should not get an unfair advantage for the xp event

If we do have an xp event, I think it would be better to implement it before actually. Otherwise players at EoC would essentially be punished for not de-levelling.

This change would have no affect on those that are already deleveled though...
It just means that people do not have to start deleveling before the event to try to do the same as those that are deleveled. Both would have equal opportunity to contribute lots of guild xp.

am i understanding this wrong or are other players?
there will be no changes to XP gained from farming a creature at your VL based on your AL.. so if this was implemented right now, those players will still be getting what they wanted? farming the same creature for 100s of levels to gain easy XP because the VL creature gives out more XP than their AL range targets...
than after they all gained their easy levels back, they just wont need that process again?
