I just hit a lvl 33 guy that has been annoying me for some time but right now i have better setup then him. I spent 100 stamina on my attack and as a result got 2500g out of his 20000g stash and he droped 650xp
meanwhile if i attack a monster and i lose ill lose 2k+ exp and 1/4 of my gold at least
also by spending his 100 stamina on leveling and hunting my enemy can gain
3-5k experience, 5000+ gold and regain what he lost in a matter of 10 kills or less
so no matter how much he annoys me i cant punish him anymore it is just isnt worth it
so what is the point of pvp ? rating?

so yes with agood defence rating your opponents hit you less but they still hit you and when they do hit you they hit you for alot of dmg there ppl there your lvl that do 250+ dmg that means anytime they hit you they can kill you in 1-2 hits plus there is critical hits and piercing hits
honestly anyone in full carnage should kill you with no problem at all and RNG has nothing to do with that
and i also think that if you win on defence you should do the same dmg in exp/gold as when you are attacking

The RNG is too random for PVP to be taken seriously.
yep yep-- that's what i've been saying. i attacked 6 random people one time in a row-- won the first 3 and lost the last 3. each time my stats were better if not far better on each level. i made sure of this cause i didn't want to lose the battle, lol. i searched through pages of pages of online peeps. in the end, i won half and lost half. was totally random. tho lately i've been winning more than i'm losing.

just because you have 10 more attack then your opponent or 10 more armor it doesnt meant you'll win

How about only letting lower levels attack higher levels for gold ie to stop 1 sided attacks from people level 10 for example attacking people level 5 for 100 stamina and stealing all their gold which they prob spent all day gathering
so for example lvl 15 players can only attack lvl15 and above for gold
i dunno talk bout it lol just a bit of a rush idea as i'm on way out
catch ya all later

standing toe to toe sword n shield in hand staring into the other fighters eyes
PROVE YOUR WORTH MORTAL muhahahaha
that kinda stuff grude match arena with certain modifiers maybe
but keep the bounty system its fun lol
this could be implemented alongside the medals maybe ??? arena champion titles etc ? certain pvp level to enter and a fee of course ..... NO !! in fact how about a pvp tourny with a prize at the end level restricted by 10 lvls hmmmmmmm what you think ?

i dont even realy pvp anyone now, cuz i dont want some butt-hurt player to put a bounty on me. cuz then id just be losing exp, and gold when some lv. 60 attacks me 10 times for the bounty... ive worked too hard to get to my level just to have some kid put a bounty on me and lose it all. it would be a lot funner to pvp again if player1 can attack player2 once, and be safe from a bounty, but if player1 attacks player2 again, then the bounty can be placed.
Agree'd.
I attacked someone once for the hell of it, just using 10 stamina so I didn't take much gold, and it was enjoyable. It gave me confidence in the game, back when there were no bounties. But now I can't even do that, because I fear getting murdered. For instance, the first day bounty was implemented, I attacked someone for the sake of attacking someone. I got a bounty on my head, and I was getting attacked by level 50+'s left and right. I had a PvP of 1300-some which got knocked down to 900-some. Lost a level, and about 3000 gold. Simply for ONE attack.
I think that it'd be better if a player can only put a bounty on other players if Player1 has attacked Player2 at least 2 times within the past 72 hours...

here is an idea. the bounty system stays on, but after an hour the bounty dissapears and if not completed the offer of fsp's or gold returns back to the one who putted the bounty on the board. this way you can get revenge if nedded but if you have a bounty on your head you don't get attacked days and days in a row
the whole reason for the bounty is to get back at someone and it works great
if it was an hour it be horrid
lots of time if you are in a good alliance or in a good gear there isnt a person out there that is willing to risk their butt to hurt you
and rarely are there multies attacking you simulteneously
but at 10 stamina attacks you dont lose much xp anyways

Just remove experience loss for PvP!! Stealing gold and PvP ranking is enough.
OR
Make it to where PvP is an option. Could be a button you press that puts a PvP marker on player. The player could stay tagged unless they made no attacks for certain amount of time. Maybe a week or something. This should assure enough people are available for attack.
Altho, i think the 1st option is better. Especially if you wanna make PvP req. quests. This way there will be enough targets to attack without killing the game for people with exper. loss.
I agree. The XP loss from PvP should go away...forever. Although the 10 stamina attacks on bounty hits reduce the amount of XP loss, individual players can lose a significant amount of XP if targetted by an enemy guild and its allies.
XP loss from PvP should just go away...players that lose PvP should lose gold, PvP rating & suffer severe gear damage. XP loss is punitive and too easily manipulated as a means of driving players' levels down.
You have a Medal system in effect (and you are working on expanding it) & you have a PvP ranking list...
...why not leave the incentive for PvP to gaining gold, gaining PvP rank, and possibly winning a medal for best PvP rating (on a monthly basis), but leave XP out of it completely.
xp loss is the point of pvp
gold is worthless, pvp rating does not mean much, being able to punish someone for attacking and harrasing you does.
infact i think there is not enough xp loss from pvp its too easy to ignore
unlesss i got lots of stamina to spare or i really have it in for the guy i hardly ever do 100 stamina attacks
xp loss from attacks should be doubled in my oppinion or even brought back to lvls it was at b4 modifications although it was extreme with the bounty system now anyone would think hard b4 attacking someone cause payback is a bitc*

Bounty has been IMHO the best update to this game so far.... well done FS crew.
It makes people think twice before hitting randomly, I now check to see who i am hitting and not just going attack player and picking one out the list randomly, you dont know who their guild members are

People that fall prey to this system deserve everything they get hehehehe
If your not in for PvP then dont, and if someone PvP's you, so what, let them have their little bit of gold and you xp loss if they persistantly attack you then you got the option of setting the likes of baine an kiak360 on them by placing a bounty hehehe
One thing i would add to bounty system tho is a bounty attack screen rather than just regular PvP cuz whats the point of being a bounty hunter and hitting somone with a paper cup (10 STA) shouldn't you hit them for max stam to take as much gold and xp from them as poss ???
I certainly get annoyed when i put up a bounty of 1 or even 2FSP for 10 kills cuz i want some guy wasted and someone just comes along and kicks him in the shins.
No more FSP bounties till then hehe i have plenty of gold to spare tho

I agree with the above post. PVP should a a level playing field. The Winner should get the same thing, Attacker/Defender should not make a difference. To the Victor go the Spoils. It only makes sense. Fair is Fair. I personally think that EXP should not be involved in PvP. PvP should be for PvP points only. If EXP is removed from PvP, then one of the Exploits are also removed. My main concern, is EXP loss though. It is one thing to lose EXP from a Monster, as I chooose to fight that Monster. It is unfair that I can lose EXP from PvP, because someone gets off on deleveling others. I don't see how that Enhances the game. So, eighther both sides can lose EXP, or no EXP lose at all. I also feel that this should apply to Gold, both sides can lose/gain Gold, or take Gold gain/lose out of PvP. Make it fair and balanced. Not onesided.
I agree with the first point of this post (there i agree with you but not totaly) an attacker should suffer the same consequences as the defende should he lose. No more no less. If you 5 lvls higher then me you ataacked me and happened to lose you get xp loss and gold loss just like if i attacked you for the same ammount of stamina as you did. (however i do see the reasoning behind this as it encourages people to pvp others since there is no penalty for attacking) As far as not losing experience and deleveling people ect ect ect the way pvp is setup now i would have to dedicate my entire time to keep someone from leveling and even then i could only hit someone for 12k or so exp /day(if i use all my stamina succesfully on trying to deleevel someone) wich alot of lvl 38+ (my lvl range) can outlevel easily. So at the most i could be a major anoyance to someone for couple of lvls if i dedicate my entire gaming experience to ruining someones gameplay. (now id think you would have to do something horible for me to do so) and then you would deserve to get paid in kind. In order to keep someone from leveling and delevel them consistently i would need to involve at least several more people who would dedicate their time to keep one person down. And it is not likely anyone is going to do so without a reason or for a long time. As a rule ill never attack anyone for 100 stamina unless they are carying large ammounts of gold, my guild is at war with them, im defending my guildmates or its a personal vendeta. In all thouse cases i have not attacked anyone for 100stamina more then 3-4 times in a row but usually once or twice as a warning or a punnishment. While it may be anoying and frustrating for someone it usually drives a point home and delivers a message im trying to deliver. They can do the same or may place a bounty on me. As far as any exploits concerning this im not aware of any so perhaps you can enlighten me?
