Even better would be totally eliminating 5 bad relics while upgrading 5 more.
i dunno about overcomplicating it for the cows to decide to dismiss, i also meant 5 in each of those ranges, was just examples tho 5 total aint much tbh.

Hello! It has been too long since I have posted on this thread.
I have been mulling over something that seems a bit off to me. The level distribution for stamina gain relics is heavily skewed towards EOC. There are no stamina gain relics between 287-3905 while there are 30 from 3906-EOC (4786). See the list below.
1 Blue Chasm
28 Udan Sun Orb
34 Chaotic Symbol
48 Klar Worldstone
85 Despair Crystal
98 Temple of the Gods
286 Temple of Lightning
3906 Juggernaut Armour
3936 Orc Corpse
3996 Pirate Cache
4006 Fiddler Crab Shell
4016 Deep Coelacanth Corpse
4026 Yanrish Dust Tomb
4076 Charmers Spell Circle
4106 Muskox Carcass
4156 Swamp Ape Corpse
4196 Sea Witch Cauldron
4206 Bomb Stash
4246 Snowy Sepulchre
4296 Gnome Hut
4326 Giant Guano Pile
4356 Royal Guard Carapace
4386 Savannah Raptor Shrine
4406 Mamont Bonepile
4446 Horned Gouger Corpse
4466 Soullness Husks Pit
4506 Burning Barn
4536 Thrashing Vine Patch
4566 Desecrated Wood Shrine
4596 Shepan Grave
4636 Hag Fiend Cauldron
4676 Submerged Ruin
4716 Raging Pyre
4726 Flaming Grave Pit
4736 Karlilion Web Bundle
4776 Bull Bahamut Corpse
4786 Giant Conch
I think there is a good opportunity for this to be changed. I am not suggesting that they add more stamina gain relics in the dead zone of 287-3905. I would suggest that they spread the current amount of stamina gain relics between that zone. There is a precedent of updating existing relics (Klar Worldstone) and modifying their stats. The change would allow more levels to fight over stamina gain relics. As it stands right now, only EOC can reach them except for the lowest ones. The +4 stamina relics should be kept at the top of this as they provide the most benefit. More competition for anything is a good thing. I believe that this change would allow more players to partake in relic "wars".
More relics like Temple of Gods at low level will surely mean competition, among more+2 1250s etc.

Arioche, it seems HCS has, again, gone silent here aside from the predictable Double Composing Experience, 25 Levels added to the “cap,” and a Global “Kill the Critter” Event. With the (presumed) Double Experience Event quickly approaching, we can also all assume that there is going to be a “new content release” of levels for those at End of Content to level through as well. This is where your voice could (and should) come out to help the community of FS.
You want feedback from the community but aren’t providing the community with the ideas you may have logged for the game. The community is merely going through motions most days now; whether it’s SE hunting, going through the new 25 levels of content, or only just using the stamina on Globals because there’s nothing else to use stamina on should be pretty telling. The innovation is nearly gone. HCS has left it in the players’ hands to figure out how to make fun out of the mundane; those who are remaining have done that, but the community has been “building their side of the bridge” for a good time now, while the community feels as if the other side isn’t being built at all for whatever the reason may be.
At the risk of sounding cross, there has been a catastrophic failure on the community relations portion front of the game in regards to HCS to player interaction. When the customer service area of the game is subpar, though, it’s hard to put full faith into HCS moving forward in regards to keeping the players’ best interests in mind. The community wants to see progress; the community isn’t holding HCS back, HCS is holding HCS back. There is nothing that we, the community, can do to help you all if HCS is going to continue to sabotage itself and the relationship it has with its players. What more does HCS want from the players? I’m not sure there’s much else the community can do.
Aside from being a broken record, I can say that the only reason I log in anymore is to speak with friends which I don’t necessarily need FS for. I WANT to be able to play the game and for the game to be fun, but as I said, there isn’t anything that requires any thought or general strategy outside minor niche situations. This is a game, after all, so why not make things better and more “game-like” requiring a bit more from the player aside from the mindless “going through the motions” actions each individual takes now?

I regretfully have to concur - threads that would have been actioned pretty quickly (ones that just require a , for example , USFG update) are left to languish.
I was REALLY optimistic when the new team came on-board, but, unfortunately, it just seems like "more of the above", and that's such a shame
A game community is TWO sided, not ONE
Homer : Marge, don't discourage the boy. Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals .. except the weasel.
Eddie Izzard : The National Rifle Association say that guns don't kill people, people do. But I think the gun helps, you know ? I think it helps. I think just standing there going "BANG" - that's not going to kill too many people, is it ?
I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but it seems that everything I eat lately turns to poo ...

From the time of creating this thread, what ideas were taken from the 4 pages? Curious if anything would be do-able. Willing to accept any change at this point.Secondly, I'd like you all to use this thread to share with me what changes you would like to see for Fallen Sword. What is it that you like or dislike? What could use a little bit of love?

Good to hear things are being worked on.
As general feedback can we have some things that were working in the browser version fixed first before this splits into threads and workloads skew. Such as filtering in the log. The top smasher list etc. I know the app is a priority, but it's a bit of a roll eyes session when something that used to work now doesn't.
With regards to the app, the main bugbear new players seem to have is being dropped in with a name they didn't choose. Could you add a pop up to the next version that tells them the icon bar scrolls and the option to do it is under the cog menu along with a bit about linking their account to an email before they even start the tutorial? I know there is a help forum post about it, but the global chat seems to be where they ask first. They do get answered most of the time, but a few feel a bit silly when it's explained to them, or just go without waiting for an answer.

One suggestion that i've heard a lot by the community, is making a change to the guild permission system, to make taking relics a permission to be granted.

One thing i think would be cool. a few others have liked the idea too.
More text editing options for the notepad in game.
Or multiple tabs of the notebook instead of one huge long one

Some vague ideas/thoughts (or, yes I have nothing better to do ):
- Are the shops in the realms ever used by players except for the rare cases where a quest item is available there at ridiculous prices? Perhaps the shops could be used better.
- Manage backpack: we have option to discard items. We could also have a button to frag the items in one go.
- We can set the level of the buffs that we can cast in the preferences. Can we also have similar settings to say I don't want X buff at more than level 100 to be cast on me?
Question 1: Shops have needed love for some time now. Except for items needed for a quest, things purchased there have no discernable usage, as they cannot be fragged and they're useless for gameplay
Question 2: You can actually breakdown all items by right clicking them in your BP.... it's a little tricky in a mobile browser, as tap and hold are hit and miss part of the time, but in the app every item has this and other options when selected
Question 3: That thing in your preferences IS a limit for buffs cast on you. At least that was how it was in the beginning. Since I have buffs that fall into this category blocked, and buffs bought in the market supercede blocking, that may also be the case for level limits as well... (Maybe the cows should look into this?)

Question 2: You can actually breakdown all items by right clicking them in your BP.... it's a little tricky in a mobile browser, as tap and hold are hit and miss part of the time, but in the app every item has this and other options when selectedThat works only on items of one type. So if there are say 80 plus items accumulated over one hunt, some would be armors some rings, etc. Only the same type of armors can be fragged in one go by breakdown all. Definitely this is much easier on the web version, and I haven't tried this on the appAs for the buffs, it works the other way for me. I can cast a max level of a buff for which I have set a limit.
Well, if my memory serves me, the idea was to prevent others from casting a buff higher than you want.... buffs like NMV could be devastating in the beginning, and actually handicapped you. If this isn't working anymore, then obviously it's one more thing to go on the dev/repair teams honey-do list.
As for breaking down tons of items after you hunt, why not just autofrag these things as you go, so you don't have to worry about them. It will save you time, frustration and BP space.... idk about you, but I rarely keep any drops unless I intend to hunt for something specific, such as quest items or SE/LE items. I mean, I understand some may want to see what they are receiving, but most drops from a regular hunt are just junk nobody uses anymore anyway, so unless you are planning to sell them in the AH, it only makes sense to make sure they are fragged right away.

It's always been the case that the skill level settings in preferences for Counter Attack, Severe Condition, Nightmare Visage and Barricade were what you as the player wanted to cast them on yourself or others.
If you didn't want them cast upon you, the option was block them individually. Or as is the case now since the buff market, buy at a level in there that suits you and bypass the block.
Nothing to fix.

can the dev that made this quest not be in involved in this part of this game anymore please? thank you!
grinding quests again and been on this one for a good 4+ hours farming elite to invent the water key and still on it
ROFL! It took me a year after I actively started this quest.... you'd think with only that drop the elites would be far less stingy....
