Yeah I was staring at that too. Want a lighter colour perhaps? Or different size? style? I'll play with it.

I don't think it's so much the font as much as it is the color/placement. Try a color that is already in the piece, it usually always looks better. And in the signature it appears far enough away from the focal that it draws attention away from it.

On the first, just rebtex as text. On the second keep the second line of text and replace the first with rebtex.
