if we just look att raw damage (and glance at attack)

the above (with demon queen swapped to sabretooth) (most numbers taken from wiki)
gives damage: 2970+1830+1250+1225+810=8085
and attack: 1774+0+0+400+260=2434
and 4 sets for SH

this

Ral Treeman Set
Farn org Shield
Twisted Cherub Amethyst Band
Ormarrs Helm

gives damage: 2970+2590+1170+1005+740+950=9425
and attack: 1774+0+190+0+320+0=2284
(with the possibilty to swith to Polar Spine Set if more attack is needed 1930/893 compared to 2590/0 on Dusk Chomper Set)
so damage is almost 1.4k higher, but only three sets for SH

but... 8085 + 35% = 10914
and 9425 + 26,25% = 11899

so damage is still almost 1k higher even after SH

I checked it and it is indeed better than this 680 setup. I am editting the list.

The set I use is:

Volkers set
Ormarrs set
Dawn Chomper set
Wraiths touch bone ring
King Zelrokhs boots
Meidos rune

This set gets over 25K damage with EW1500 and the new buffs. The downside is that it's pretty pricey. To counter that you can farm the ring, boots, and rune. The volkers set you can now win in the arena, along with the components needed for the ormarrs set.

Your setup there is nice but here is one that ive been using its about the same just more attack and a bit more damage

Ormarrs helm or Echibor turban -cheap alternative gives about 210 less damage at no where near the cost of ormarrs

Also kifos set is better than ormarrs (gives 600 more damage and gobs of att) till 810 when you will be able to run 4 sets then it would be

It is better than the one listed ... editting it now, also thank you for the level 810 setup, this fills up the 750-990 gap a little, now I only wonder if there is a better one between 810-990

not going to give setups away but its possible to get 20 k dam at 500 now with 4 sets its also possible to get 13 k dam at 400 with 4 sets
over 30 k dam at level 710 as well again with 4 sets

Treeman set 500 seems to be escaping a lot of notice.

I've searched for this llevel 400 misfortune setup, but don't seem to find it.

at my level i use argus set sphynx helm and doth blades which gives me more damage etc if i use SH and CoAT, like scrogger said,, im more of a suicidal freak so i dont bother with any safe armor stuff

Yes, if you use coordinating attack it will give you 556 extra damage from armour but you have 400 damage less than this setup. So only 116 more damage.

Altough if you use EW1k you get 560 extra damage from doth blade and 1025 from earth hammer. So if using EW1k this setup is better than yours with EW1k and CooAtt. Altough difference wont be huge.

I made up a setup for level 575:

I used a similar set-up but a few differences. I used Dusk Chomper + Illuyanka Sets, but then I use Water Trident + Aging Adventurer Breastplate (600) + Shield of Roljill + and Ring of Gasrel (616).

I use EW 1500 in my hunts so for me having a higher damage weapon is crucial. I also use SH and Coordinated Attack.

My strategy is simply to stack max damage items with Illuyankas + Dusk Chomper sets + Water Trident. I think that should serve me well from 575 to 650, maybe 675.

Overall, nice max damage set-up guide. I would mention what buffs / potions you are using to get your numbers though, because there may be several BEST set-ups for a particular level range. Particularly, if your not willing to buy the best buffs / potions.

buffs - EW 1575, fury 175, bzk 175 (evidently this can be improved) smashing hammer, coordinated att, IF, ES, EA 175, epic forge.
10% damage/att relic, all gear is excellent/perfect and FF'ed.

Misfortune Set, Illuyankas set, Deaths Head set, Xiphos set.

On the character I saw this on it was putting out 12000 att, 2800 def (use NMV on this set for extra def), 5200 armor, and 12000 damage (add DD for 14.4k damage total) But I suspect that your leveler with all their points in damage will put out lots more damage and less attack.

did you add in the 10% damage relic I said was on there? and don't forget, all the gear was FF'ed and either perfect or excellent which adds a lot of extra stat points to you gear, and with W 1575 you get another 500ish damage. it is possible, I saw it

No, I didnt ... yes it might be possible with 10%, EW1500 and epic forge ... but I think you can get higher damage with this setup with those buffs.

(7061+1000+1122(EW))*(1+0,0875*4)*1,3 = 16.116 damage with 10%, EW1500, SH and CoAtt ... you can get another extra 875 damage from berserk350 and Fury175 ... that ends you with 16991 and still not forged and epic forged buffed.

For that xiphos/mis/illuy/dh setup it should be:
(4870+1000+648(EW))*(1+0,0875*5)*1,3 = 12180... you can get another extra 875 damage from berserk350 and Fury175 ... that ends you with 13055 and still not forged and epic forged buffed.

oh, I am by no means saying that the misfortune suit is the best, but it is a very visually pleasing alternative statwise lol. More expensive in gear, but it would more fun to use IMO (not to mention making you a much more unappealing gold target). Besides, there are only about 35 creatures that you can't one hit using this suit from lv 500-600, and 80% of those creatures are lv 550 and past and most of those are past lv 575.

Still looking for level 400-500 improvements and level 850-990 setups.

I'm just wondering how Crushing Fist, Ko Lash, Octo Spine, Sphynx helmet and Argus boots (Sthenos boots from 440) (with SH, CoorA and the occasional EW1000/1500) looks like for level 400-499.
The items are pretty cheap so it's available for about everyone. SH, CoorA and perhaps EW should be affordable to most. :wink:
