Remove XP loss from pvp hits and i'm pretty sure most people wouldn't care if you get +10 or +100 prestige from a 100 stam hit. That would open up PvP for all.

 

OR

 

Go back to the previous system we had of standardization of pvp with 50 stam hits only. All hits are smashes and no soft hits anymore. Let the BB system post bounties and you influence the BB by putting additional gold on peoples head (like a traditional bounty if you think about it). The BB was MORE ALIVE during this system than the previous several years using the TIRED OLD system of people posting bounties. Also more profitable for BB clearers / hitters with a system posting bounties.

 

Honestly, I can't see why the cows ever caved on their brand new idea. Most people, if not all, actually liked it. I believe only a small group of people took offence to it cause they couldn't organize huge take 5 level parties on regular pvp.

 

 

If NO to either idea, then keep PvP the way it is.

The Entire Community Voted in game about 14 months ago and decided the way pvp is now is the best, so no need to change it.

The 'vote' was flawed I have to say. It never gave the option of keeping the new system with certain improvements.

 

There was a concerted effort of certain individuals/guilds who felt their 'dominance' threatened by the newer system and wanted it gone. So they basically lead a forum campaign 'sympathising' with people who had felt THEIR wrath due to the poor initial implementation, shouting about every 'downside' to the new system instead of praising the good aspects and putting forth ideas to the bad ones and constantly calling for all the work that HCS had done to create this new content, to be thrown away. They just wanted it gone, when HCS finally caved and put up the poll, the options given were far too limited, and well, the 'interested parties' that campaigned against it got what they wanted.

 

Sad story really.

You must be suggesting to gain Prestige from GvG battles. That's what the above is suggesting.

PvP Prestige was introduced as a way to help those who PvP regain some of the lost levels they naturally incur by playing this style of game play. Many seem to have forgotten that. It makes sense to tie the amount of prestige earned into the amount of stam used.  But maybe that would make too much sense. Kinda like a pvp smasher medal being tied to pvp. How the ladder and board are the only ways for a smasher tick to count make no sense. But rarely in this game do things make total sense.

PvP Prestige is abused by players trading 10 stam hits every 2 days for 10 Prestige points. There are many players now advertising in their bio to collude trading hits - the frequency is about 10% of players in the higher leveled guilds. When reported HCS says it is allowed actually.

10stam = 1 prestige.

100stam = 10 prestige.
