It's not just you! http://fallensword.com looks down from here.
Fortunately I did my 9k kill already. Those people who are on top 100 or want to be on top 100 will have a hard time.

Top priority should to improve the servers and reduce the issues and downtime. I have never been on a website that has had so many server issues. 
The servers were better and we had less lag/downtime a few years ago when there were about 2000 TRUE active players (active time was less than 20 minutes). Fix the issues or else you will lose more players.

I hate having to agree with this and be negative about the game, but I agree 100% ...
Game reliability has gone downhill quite a fair bit over the years - I remember when I first started that it never "croaked" (unless that's my ancient memory misleading me of course .. )

I for one am becoming really disillusioned with these errors. They seem to be becoming all too regular for my liking. Especially just lately but even further back than that this seems to happen every few weeks. The player base is smaller now and none remain except those who are most loyal. Whatever the issue is be it cloudfare or otherwise can we look toward a permanent solution? So this doesn't happen again? No matter what the cost of said solution financially?
This just isn't ok anymore.

It's back but now my theme won't go off the default. It changed when I got back in for some reason.
Edit - Tried the classic theme and that's working. Seems to be just the grayscale displaying as the default theme.

it happens in waves, sometimes small lag waves sometimes huge waves and getting the error message - seems to be calm now
my greyscale background during this recent wave turned brown at one point...and doesn't look like game stats updated for today yet
