Feedback & Suggestions - WARRIORS

Hard-pressed to give a preference though, if someone really wanted me to give a recommend, I would say this:
Angelic: Hard choice, really. I think I have more Angelics than I do any other class.....there's just something about them. My best Angelic is the very first Warrior I ever built. The fact that my other Angelic Warriors are just as successful makes me feel that sub-class is the best choice for that class. Though, I do have lots of love for my fluffy-feathered Magies, too.
Me:
The Angelic Shield is nice, but only if you have not built up your ac that hight for that very reason, since souls are easy to come by. mage outside of the 35% dmg extra is almost pointless, much less so than with greenie, but still
OG:
Demonic: Mage, absolutely. Without even having to think about it.
Me:
BS. i have heard people say. oh demonic possession for a warrior only nets me blah blah blah. feh it still give an attack boost.. as for the def a boost gives the mages i cannot say. i no longer need the att boost, and the hp it gives me is laughable but that is because i have less than 700 base hp
OG:
Elf: Warrior. Just do it.
Me:
naw the sheer power of mages and tha fact that they do not need to heal at a safe zone like ever. because lets face it they get smacked around and killed A LOT. ABOUT EQUAL
OG:
Greenskin: No opinion here. Greenskin is geared to Warrior, obviously, but I know there's several Greenie Miners out there. I would never advise anyone to go Mage with this class, but it can be done. You just have to have the heart for it.
Me:
greenie miner would be good for the excess damage inflicted, but the need to walk everywhere means you do not want to actually mine much lmao
OG:
Shadow: I'll be damned if I know what the best sub-class for this class is, and I have created at least one of each sub-class as well as fostered others. It's just what you put into it, I think. If you're talking mostly unsubbed gameplay or strictly utility, then I would have to say Miner; the Shadow Form skill really comes in handy here.
Me:
That is easy, Mage. miner is good, but not getting a dmg bonus from angel.undead.dermon or even the walkabout miner (greenie) means more ap to level the beast. (20% def bonus is not as good as a 35% dmg bonus, plus other intangibles) mage is better simply because the def boost helps
OG:
Undead: Ahhhhh, Undead. There's quite a lot to be said for this class. Out of all the available regular classes, it is my deeply personal favorite. As for sub-class, I personally am Reverted, which for the uneducated means that I had chosen a subclass (Warrior) and was terribly unsatisfied (my own fault, not the game's), and gave up my subclass. So, I have no subclass adjustments because of it, and I can never choose another subclass. I am a rather flexible character, though. I can mine for myself if I need to, I can use Sorcery well, and I can pound the Hell out of my prey. Anyway.....Miner is great, Warrior is really great, but I feel that Mage best does this class justice.
Me:
Undead is a class that is excellent for all involved. miner mage and warrior. you say mage does it best justice, well maybe from the saved ap of constantly porting back to the crime scene, but you still have to do that. if you mean the drain skill to refill mp, hey that might work, but i am too busy hunting breakneck speed to drain a plebe mob for his mp. bottom line spirit frankly needs no new skills except something maybe like a dig your grave skill that makes anywhere be a safe zone, but no healing, or mp regen

Yes, I feel Mage does that class justice. My reason for that has absolutely nothing to do with anything you stated. I don't notice if ap is saved or not from having to teleport back to "the crime scene". I don't care. I don't give a damn about the Drain Skill, I never use it. Where did I ask for a new skill for the class? And if I was given a skill like "dig your own grave", I'd be insulted.Undead is a class that is excellent for all involved. miner mage and warrior. you say mage does it best justice, well maybe from the saved ap of constantly porting back to the crime scene, but you still have to do that. if you mean the drain skill to refill mp, hey that might work, but i am too busy hunting breakneck speed to drain a plebe mob for his mp. bottom line spirit frankly needs no new skills except something maybe like a dig your grave skill that makes anywhere be a safe zone, but no healing, or mp regen
I don't build my characters or play my game based on percentages. But, to each their own.
Debrutsid, did you miss this part of my post? :wink:At any rate, it is ultimately up to YOU. There's certainly players out there that will have different opinions, and no one is 100% right. A dozen different people can give you advice, but it really doesn't matter. It's YOUR character, no one is going to be playing it and putting time/energy/effort/money into it but YOU. You have to do what you feel is right. If there's a mistake made with your character wouldn't you rather it be your own fault, rather than the result of taking someone else's advice and assurance that it's the right thing to do, only to have it turn out wrong? And you don't have to be in an absolute rush, either. Take your time and think about what you really want out of your gameplay.

well my titan mage would make sense, because he thinks it is cool and doesn't understand the ramifications of having to walk EVERYWHERE, and also usually spend extra ap trying to level wisdom
Yeah, but with Greenskin you have to walk everywhere anyway, so, you're not really out anything. I'm seriously thinking about building another Greenskin mage.
Oooh look.....we're talking about Mages in the Warriors thread.
